- I like college fest because they are so enjoyable and famous people come .Senior are coparting in each club whether you choose any club for dancing ,singing ,painting etc .Lots of event take place after fest or between it like saraswati puja,durga puja main festival of KOLKATA they celebrate it ,viskarwa puja and disco night all are done that makes campus like interstiing .
- I like the infrastructure because room are well furnished garden area, sitting arrangemnent,Labs ,auditorium all are big and well good.
Dislikes
- I do not like campus because its too small and no library and language barrier for other state students.And palcement internship are not that good.Very low package is offered .They guratee 100 % placement but reality is they can not afford to do it.
- Some teachers and some students they only spoke bengali .They do not accompany students like BIhari.NO humblemness Not all but some are
Remarks :
Actually My WBJEE rank is near 22000.So I Selected many colleges in round 1 got different college But in Round 2 I got this College. Yes I discussed it with my family and got selected by WBJEE Exam. Good aspects are their are lots of club and events that happens which are really excited. Even Tech clubs are exciting. Seniors are humble. Bad aspect are Our Campus is too small .Sometimes language barrier happens because most of students spoke Bengali and teachers too .Admission process is easy its direct or can be from any exam like TNJEE,WBJEE,JEE MAIN,NATA,CLAT,WBJEE ANM & GNM,GATE,CAT/MAT UGC NET/GATE, JELET ,XAT, CMAT, ATMA, UGAT. The cutoff for CSE branch is nearly goes 3999 to 42000 almost. I prepare for it my preparing subjects like Physics ,chemistry and Math. I got highest marks in Math. And my Physical chemistry is strong i Practice numerical a lots.
Course Curriculum Overview :
To be honest I got rank near 22k so According to my Rank this college is best I Can get .Teaching method is nice but I would say like in computer science practical practice is needed that is not upto the mark.Faculty are qualified But most of teachers just speak bengoli thats for non bengoli student.There are 3 mid terms term which are MCQ happen anda semester afrter every 5-6 months happen.The difficulty level is easy to moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have done a IBM internship with is unpaid online given by college .I am a member of team that team that taught me group handling,how to manage pressure .But not paid internship as provide by college .so no any website and project i have made till now in 2nd year.
Placement Experience :
For placement you do not have any backlog paper all should be completed. WIPRO,TCS, INFOSYS,COGNIZANT, IBM, TATA MOTORS, AMAZON, ACCENTURE. Highest package is INR 25LPA and average is INR 5LPA.Almost 80% student got placement but with low package .I planned to do gate and take IIT as a MTECH option and getting a good company .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have to pay 158000 per year with 2000 per semester exam fee.Yeah schlorship is available but only for West Bengal students.I selected Course of 4 years in BTECH with total course fee of 642000.Its Increasing in a year.
Campus Life :
First It start with College Freshers name ENTHUSIA which usually happened in November. VIVARTA is tech Fest happened in March. SAHOTSAVA that happened for 4 days in MAY. Books are available as per what we asked. But no sitting arrangement of library. Classrooms are well furnished with AC in Every classroom with smart board in some class. sports facilities are good. TAKSHILA is our game club in which VALORANT, BGMI, CHESS, ETC games happen. Cricket and Football are so popular game of college that usually happened within 2-3 months with different college. Badminton is one of the best Game. TAKSHILA is divided into groups like Online game zone challenge occur in December. Cricket, Football, tug of war happened in SAHOTSAVA and normally in college competition and lot of practice done. Club all I Mentioned TAKSHILA, SWARAKRITI (MUSIC), GROOVER (dance). VIVARTA (TECH FEST). Also REEL contest AGNIKA.TEAM CHITRAKA for photo or painting.
Hostel Facilities :
I rented a PG near my College Which charge 7500 per month .Foods and everything is not that good. For vegetarian its tough to exist. Otherwise everything is good. Friendly surrounding safe of girls.Process is so simple you just need to visit near college lot of PGS is availed there.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
