- I like college events ,many events fest occur and we have a great chance to perform and enjoy even DISCO night and many other things usually happened in campus.
- Also i like infrastructure of college rooms are furnished with AC rooms and are well.
Dislikes
- I do not like placement cell because lot of students are there and get placement of less amount and even not.
- Some unsporting teacher and student as they only speak Bengali as many do not understand it.
Remarks :
I discussed with parents and took direct admission in college without any exam. just I need to submit documents like 12th and 10th and other. I did not prepare for any round because I did not give any exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I am interested in doing MCA after BCA and want to do coding that's why. Faculty are good and educated even in Lab they are good in practical. Exams are held in 3 times a semester as a midterm exam and a semester exam after every 6 months.
Internships Opportunities :
NO, I do not do any internship because college did not provide it .Only IBM online course i have done it in the name of internship. College is only giving online unpaid internship even in some case we have to pay the fee for selection.
Placement Experience :
Student must be clear all backlog before appearing in placement cell. recruiters are INFOSYS, WIPRO, TCS, AMAZON, ETC. Highest package is 15 lakhs for my course and lowest is 3 lakh form course BCA, 80% of student got placed. After completion I want to do MCA from any college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay 120,000 in a year of two semester with 2000 extra for each semester as an exam fees no extra or less charge for any category. Scholarship are given as per you have scored above 60 percent in each semester without any back.
Campus Life :
ENTHUSIA (freshers), VIVARTA (tech club), SAWAKRITI(MUSIC), And SAHOTSAVA happened for 4 days. Books are available .But no sitting arrangement in library. Classrooms are well furnished with AC and good things
Hostel Facilities :
I live in rented pg. and no registration only you need to pay and live. you just need to go around college and find suitable pg. around it. Food quality is not good for vegetarian people. Menu is there for 7 days

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
