Good aspects The environment of whole campus is very clam and refreshing. The campus is green campus .The social interaction of student is very fascinating The teachers are very student oriented .They thoroughly teach each and every topic very deeply Bad aspects Some of the teachers uses the old conventional method can't upgrade their mindset The campus road should be closed for other type of public transport I gave the CEE exam to get admission into this college . My first choice is civil branch and AEC .I got this college in first preference. The eligibility is combined mark for Physics chemistry maths mark is more than or equal to 60 .the age limit is 21 .The cuttoff widely vary over different Branches. The cutoff of core branches is top 400 for general student
The btech civil engineering always focusing on our sorrounding world. Civil engineering is very in demand course .They make a beter world by their infrastructure. The placement of the course is very high that's why I select this course. Faculty 5 The faculty to student ratio is very high .Most of the faculties are very clam and good .The student faculties relation is very good. teching is student oriented and very understandable . The examination is moderate and paper coming from ASTU . Many students can't pass the exam and many score good scoreIn curriculum can include some more Practical subjects like which will developed more skills and then placement is very goodThe exam frequency is well settled two ESE exam is held in year and CAT (continuous assessment exam ) is held many time between them . Difficulty is moderate
Placement Experience From the seven semester the student got the campus placement . There are more than 50 good campanies including bajaj ,Lg ,Land T construction, Gamon , tata ,NRL,ONGC and many more offered different jobs. The highest package in this year is 24 LPA from chemical engineering. The average package is 10- 12 Lpa. The percentage of student placement is very good More than 60 percent. Some of them established their own startup . my planning is to get a good job and also a dream of civil services

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .
While the college does not guarantee 100% corporate placement, it facilitates campus interviews and internships. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata have rec recruited or offered internships to a percentage of students.
There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.
There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA
The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low. That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled. And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.
I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.
I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
