- Mess food is very good and very affordable.
- Bathroom is very neat and hygiene and available always free
Dislikes
- College doesn't have a big campus size which doesn't allow to roaming around the college
- College doesn't have the playground because of that in the sports feast we have to go in another ground
Remarks :
No need for cutoff as anyone can take admission in this course. Although I can wait for wbjee to get admission but many students take admission through management quota but would take more admission fund
Course Curriculum Overview :
Very unorganised management. Teachers are good but management change rule every now and then. This makes it very unreliable which is very much frustrating since our CGPA dips. Although the sem exam are easy so this makes it bearable
Internships Opportunities :
No, I'm in first year so I didn't apply, from next year I'll try. College gives two months of vacation for internship in summer time . College doesn't internship although they provide mock interview which is helpful for internship and placement.

Campus Life :
No college life. There are clubs and they host events now and then. Hackathon are very frequent and makes us good coder which makes it good for placement. Library are filled with books and books can be published whenever asked
Hostel Facilities :
U can stay in pg or in stay in hostel although the hostel is very bad PG is preferred, the mess of PG is better than that of the hostel. Food is like it's made in my home. Hostel is far from college. That's why PG is preferred.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
