There have a exam which is IEM JEE to get admission in this college. Through this you can get admission and there have also a donation system to get admission but it is too much costly.This IEM JEE is also for saltlake, Newtown campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All facilities are too much good and highly qualified. And they are also the IEM faculty . For the second semister Term 1 exam is conducted in February 10 and term 2 exam is conducted in March and the semester is conducted in April but for first semester there have more time to study.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tution fees of 4 year is 785000. First you have to paid 120000 in the admission time which is also included the 1st semester fees Which is 95000.admission fees 5000 Library fees 6000 , student welfare fees 4000, Developement fees 2200 is also included in the 120000. And svmcm scholarship is available and also there has a private scholarship of college which has some eligible criteria which gives 20000 per month.
Campus Life :
The campus is not too much big but there is available all the things. A basket ball ground is available here and also a basement ground where table tennis, bat ball , badminton can be played and there is also a play ground which is near about 20 minute walking distance from the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
