No GDs, Interviews or Written Tests except a good rank in JEE Mains to admit in IIIT Delhi. There are other modes of admission also like UCEED/DASA etc. Admission information is available on the website. The major factor I chose my course(CS & Design) is no other reputed engineering college has design as a major subject. Plus, hostels are available for students who live 30km+(at the time of my admission, it currently got changed to 50km+) away from the campus. Plus, the placement stats made me take this college.
I chose this course to have a good grasp on industry level work in the design field and earn money from freelancing also. Almost all the professors are PhDs and have a good experience and contacts in their respective industries. The term exams happen twice a semester(mid and end). The toughness level of examinations here is 11 on the scale of 10 as far as I have faced. Yeah some exams are a bit easy but most of them aren’t.
The internship season starts even earlier than placements. Every big company eg., Google, Microsoft, Zomato, DE Shaw, Salesforce comes in the campus internship program and offers upto 1-1.5 LPM for 2-3 months internship.
The placement season of IIITD starts earlier than most of the colleges including IIT Delhi, we get a 95-98+% placements and most of them are A/A+ offers. Students here get way too many opportunities for placements. Except on that year when market was down, every year the placements are higher than previous years.

Scholarships available for quota students (SC, ST, OBC). Discussing about social life first, the college allows a limited amount of time for socialising but if you’re a hosteller you will definitely gonna love the social life here as there are no restrictions on timings for entry or exit. Plus, there are more sports than any other engineering college in Delhi(including swimming pool). The best thing is, the college culture is very nice. I have had a very helpful and great peer group. We maintain a healthy relation between junior and senior and no ragging is there in or around the campus.
Hostel life in this college is no less fun than any other college despite having more work load, nobody denies that. Infrastructure is one of the best. Mess food is no good than any other college food. However there are dhabas near the campus to eat affordable and good food sometimes.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
