A huge diversity can be found in Hindu College. Students from different countries as well as from almost every state can be seen here. I didn't face any Group Discussion or Interview. Admission was fully based on the CUET Exam Cut-Off.
Course is definitely quite heavy but very interesting too. Maximum things can be connected to our practical life. Every year, relevant changes are made by experts. Faculty is quite knowledgeable but sometimes face issue with connectivity. Majorly, classes are in fully English medium.
I haven't opted for any internship but many internship opportunities are circulated in our college groups. We can find both, paid as well as unpaid internships from small companies to MNCs. So, it's not a challenge here.
I heard that Economics Hons. in Hindu College attracts the largest number of companies and corporates in whole DU. Even, Relaxo has its own Research Centre in our college. If we have good CGPA with required skills, it's no more difficult for a placement.
Total fees is approx. ?27000. No detailed fee structure is given till the time. Three are lot of scholarships for almost all the departments on the basis of our performance. I don't have any clear idea about increasing fees.
Fests are organised time to time. First one is SURUCHI, The Diwali Fest. Then, Freshers is organised and in March-April, Mecca, the biggest fest of Delhi University is organised with a lot of joy and celebration. Library is quite big with three floors and two big reading halls. Sports are comparatively lesser in number. Different societies are available, whose informations are available on official website of Hindu College.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
