St.xaviers college kolkata is one of the reputed college of India and many alumni from this college have became cool personalities take example of Saurabh Ganguli, mother Teresa, sabya Sachi and Many more . This college was the target college of mine since my childhood as taught by mu teachers and parents and after listing to the facilities it offers and compiling opportunities it became my dream college.The college conducts various seminars and offers us compiling opportunities to enhance or skills and journey of reputed learning with greater feasibility.College conducts compulsory seminars every Saturday to provide necessary opportunities to the speakers as well as the non speakers and the people who are interested in speaking and group discussions then they can especially enroll to various societies for example xavier's commerce society, consulting club, entrepreneurship society, dance society, music society, hindi literally societies the student who are well acquired with knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview :
St xavier's college kolkata offers various courses including the diploma, under graduate and post graduate courses, etc. Under graduate courses include bachelor of commerce, economic Honours, etc. Our college conducts internal as well as external examination which are semesters every semester consists one internal assessment and one semester or final examination which are compulsory and also the internal assessment marks are added to the final marks of semester as per certain weight age.
Internships Opportunities :
The student doing chartered accountancy course or any other course like CFA,CS, actuaries are given support and the articleship they perform as part of training is treated as internship on the part of college if no professional course is obted college provides facilitate paid as well as non Paid internship opportunities.
Placement Experience :
The college offers great companies internships in between the college semesters as well as it offers placement from various renowned companies like deloitte, kpmg, Tata, birla etc with highest package coming to 10,00,000.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees which is charged by St.xaviers college,kolkata at the time of registration is Rs 500 and the confirmation of admission it charged 56000 approx . And as a tuition fees it charges 30000 per quarter as an installment. We are not charges any other fees in the name of development or infrastructure, lab fees,caution fees in between. But if their is any shortfall in attendance less than 60% it charges condonation fees of ?1800 per subject and this fees differs from department to department. My benchmates and colligues are charged equal feel though their must be provisions for underprivileged students in our college generally accepted across religions changes depending upon the same classes every single student is charged upon submission of necessary documents . Also college offers scholarship to the academic scholars of college of ? 1000 along with thw certificate of the academics . For the normal students college provides ?500 to each student not failed in the examination conducted.
Campus Life :
Tye best thing about st. Xaviers college kolkata is that it offers a great infrastructure to the students . The college conducts many fest on a weekly basis but in spite of all these it is also conducts one of the main fest of Asia which is known as xavotsav and full college participate in it and the college also invites the renowned chief minister Miss mamta Banerjee to conduct the event of the college. The college campus consists of a central library which have 2-3 reading room a tab room and library issue book sections the books of every subject are generally available and ample of the journals or research papers also are kept Ata the library for enhance studies. It offers every sports like badminton, tennis ,cricket,etc. Various social groups through various societies are present in the college to provide facilitate various sector and fields.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel in which I live is providing very well rooms with good food and fresh water, clean environment also provides 24 hours maid for taking care of the students leaving there here the facility is for only girls so that they can leave safe.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
