- The college has an excellent faculty team ,all the teachers are extremely helpful and knowledgable and supportive.they always stand by us in the time of need and try to solve all our issues and problems . We also have consultancy teacher to consult at times of need and Difficulties and we have a mentor also to guide us in problem
- The college has a vibrant college life , there are various activities going on in the college always be it in sports like basketball, football, cricket, tennis badminton etc or seminar conducted by famous personalities from which we get to learn various experiences which were not known to us before
Dislikes
- The college strictly follow all its rules and regulations which somewhere restrict the college life and make it a feel a bit like school .all the teachers and faculty also take the principals of the college very seriously too .
- Puts a lot of pressure on the students as we have a lot of activities to do be it attending class, seminar doing assignment etc which increase our pressure to work by a lot mkre
- The fees of the college is high from various government college and thus make it a bit unaffordable for students with low income
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college were- It's location,and serious environment for professional course students It's high nirf ranking It's high placement opportunities It's requisite seminars and other non academic activities
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college circulum is very good for students pursuing any professional courses . We have a very practical approach for learning things . Information technology mx excel etc are also included in our circulum which makes it even more interesting and worthy and help boost our cv
Internships Opportunities :
There are various internship options in the college given specifically to 2nd and 3 rd year.the various internship include mx excel internship, artificial intelligence internship and various other online or offline with or without stipend are offered
Placement Experience :
There are campus placement offered in this college.various company visit the college for on campus placement like the 4 MNCs and many other companies like pepsico ,myntra,meesho etc visit here and do on campus placement for their company
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees is around 145000 which is sum total of two semesters.one semester cost around 65000 to 70000. Scholarship are available for different categories. Special scholarship are available for boys students in the morning batch as there fees is half our fees and so the total cost is low . however it is only for boys in morning.in evening batch which is coed the fees for boys remain same
Campus Life :
Campus and social life is very good. Here we have various opportunities and various non alcoholic activities to participate and enjoy in .we have various locations inside the college campus to make memorable moments in like the canteen , green benches ,field, tt room etc
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel have good facilities but is a bit strict on rules .the food pg the hostel is fine however the only issue being lack of acs and washroom in the hostel .and in a warm climate area like kolkata it can pose a problem

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
