MDI- Murshidabad experience of batch (2023-25)
Remarks :
The selection process for this college during my year (2023-25) was personal interview among the pool of candidates, it was an online interview and then the selected students received the offer letter. This is an estimated college and also a branch of MDI- Gurgaon.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So when I talk about the course curriculum it is equivalent to any iim in the country we have a case study based teaching methodology. We have a bloomberg lab which is very essential for finance students. When I talk about faculty everyone has their own opinion on this i believe that each faculty has a good educational background, having good number of research papers published under their name
Internships Opportunities :
As I mentioned about the placement same goes for the internship as well. The student driven body the placement committee helps the batch to secure placements as well as summer internships. Although the placements and internships are not guaranteed by the college. They just claim that they are making students placement ready so that people cannot question them .
Placement Experience :
The college provides support by bringing in the companies. The companies are brought in by the placement committee which is entirely a student driven commitee so the students of our batch who are part of the committee helps the batch to get placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees for two year PGDM program for the batch of 2023-25 was 14.5 lakhs and increased to 15.5 lakh for the batch 2024-26. Scholarship is available for the north east students. Our campus is a residential campus hence fees includes food and lodging charges as well
Campus Life :
At this campus we have total of 21 clubs and committee which helps in overall development of students. Some or the other day we have competition from some clubs which helps in overall development. Being a member of a particular committee also helps in the growth one learns to handle team conduct events and budget their activities. Although campus is far away from a city place it is yet a good place to be. Outside the campus we have a Village where we get necessary amminitiee.
Hostel Facilities :
This is a residential program so everyone is required to stay at the campus itself. The mess food is good compared to many colleges obviously getting Home cooked food is not possible. Non vegetarians would be very happy being in this campus as nonveg is their in the menu of 5 days in a week.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
