Remarks :
For the selection round i filled the form for the college and based on the cat scorecard i was shortlisted for the personal interview round and from a pool of candidates that appeared for the interview 189 students were selected based on the interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is at par with the iim's. College uses the technique of case based learning and role plays where a group is assigned a particular case study that they need to analyse and come up with The solutions. Faculties here are quite educated and have several research paper published under their name.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes as mentioned for the placement same goes for internship the student body that is the placement committee helps in achieving intership for the batch . Companies from all the domain sales marketing hr operations visit for the internship however major portion is for sales
Placement Experience :
The placement is driven entirely by the student body the "Placement committee" where student from our batch itself helps the batch to achieve the placement. The college doesn't takes responsibility of placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When i talk about my fees the two year pgdm program costed me 14.5 lakhs which includes tution fees, hostel fees and lodging fees this was the fees structure for the batch 2023-25 . The fees structure for the batch 2024-26 is 15.5 lakh
Campus Life :
Honestly the campus is in a remote location however the infrastructure within the campus is very good. We have a Village outside our campus where we get necessary stuffs. In The college we have 21 clubs and committees that play an integral part for the overall development of the students.
Hostel Facilities :
It is a residential campus so everyone has to be present at the campus. We have different hostels for boys and girls also we have several comman areas and games present within the hostels. We have a swimming pool, TT table, pool table and many such games.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
