Remarks :
Good placement opportunities, strict environment and anti- environment in your campus made me choose this college.Also the college faculties are highly educated. Best aspects of our college is- Strong placement preparation Good updated curriculum Bad aspects- 75% attendance mandatory even no medical reason can be approved Too much exams(2 term exams that includes practicals and finals), no time to study. Few faculties are very harsh on the students Placement cell gives importantance to toppers Marking is not according to the performance of the Students
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course i choose is Btech CSE (AI&ML). It's a good subject for the upcoming years. Max faculties are highly educated but very can teach properly. The semesters are of 3 months or 4 months and in between 2 - 2.5 months are dedicated for the exams, we don't get enough time to study events during term exams we have to attend full day class with 1 hr extra cls for daily. Very hectic schedule.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a special scholarship or financial aid program for the poor financial background(alumni scholarship program). The max amount of the scholarship is 85k and it varies to person to person based on their needs.It covers the whole tuition fees of the semester but there is a very strict criteria for that and also interviews are taken.If you score highest in your 12 th there are certain financial assistance given to the rankers.
Campus Life :
Campus is too small to enjoy.Moreover our canteen foods are affordable enough. Library is ok ok type, also you are only allowed to visit and sit in library during tiffin time and after dispersal time.Lifts are not enough to handle about 500 student climbing 5-6th floors daily.We have a lots of clubs in our college but that's too corrupted. There is no period for physical activity so you just have to sit on your place for 8 hours straight.
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of the canteen food is okay according to the price and is quite affordable. Hostel registration process is simple and the environment is quite strict according to my friends . I don't have much knowledge on this because I am not a hosteler.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
