Remarks :
For this college you have to apply for JEE MAINS. After exam, participate in the JOSAA or CSAB counselling which is held online. With that process you can get admission in this college. This college fee was less compared to the others , and with the percentile i got (94 percentile) I was getting Computer Science here . So I preferred to take my degree from this college. Also the campus of college is beautiful. A lot of greenery is here. College campus is about 450 acres.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science because it was the growing field in the today's world. Here the qualifications of Faculties are M-tech, Phd. Not all but some professors have unique way of teaching like visualising things for better understanding. Some send their assistants for the teaching who are currently doing Phd from the college. Format of the exams for Btech degree is Minor 1 -> Minor 2 -> End Sem.
Internships Opportunities :
JP MORGAN and INFOSYS offers for Internships with stipend of about 20000. You should have average SGPA of 8.5 and above to apply for internship in JP MORGAN. Tasks like web developer, app developer are given.
Placement Experience :
For placements you should not have any backlog in any exam and CGPA of about 7 and above. Recruiters like IBM, INFOSYS, TCS, HCL and COGNIZANT. Their average offers given are 6LPA. Highest package given is 18.5 LPA and Average of 4.1 LPA . Average of 70% students get placed . I will apply for the placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During the time of registration you have to pay nearly 67000 which includes first semester fee , admission fee, and other charges. College per semester fee is 37000 so yearly it becomes almost 74000(hostel fee is included which is 4000 per semester) , mess fee is charged extra per month. There are various scholarship like Tuition Fee Waiver which is given on the basis of merit as well as family income, Resonance Scholarship and Siemens and others. You can avail about 26000 from above mentioned scholarships per semester. Over all semester fee may increase by 1000 after every year.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good. A lot of things are provided inside the campus like Restaurants, Fruits, Snacks , and all basic day to day need. There are Cultural Fest like Madhuram and Techfest which are held in October and April alternatively. Books can be alloted from College Central Library for free. Sports like Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball , Football, Squash, Hockey, Table Tennis, Badminton are played. There are a lot of clubs like MAVERICS and ENDEAVOR for Robotics and Electronics , SSDC for Coding, SVIESA for photography, HAPPY CLUB for singing , dancing and acting.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel fee is 4000 per semester which is included in College semester fee. Mess fee is charged extra about 3000 per month. For Hostel Allotment you should come with a identity card that you belong to this college , aadhar card, and your JEE result. Mess food is overall okay .Pg rooms are available outside the campus withing 1km of radius.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
