- college campus is good while infrastructure is also good except some hostel as it is old type.
- mostly faculties are good , supporting and well qualified.
Dislikes
- connectivity for college is not good . you have to travel almost 20 km from main city to reach college.
- hostel timing is not good because you cannot go outside after 10 pm in night for any reasons except health issues.
Remarks :
for taking admission here you have to give joint entrance exam then you have to go through counselling process which is held by JOSSA and CSAB . you will get branch according to your percentile and rank . i have got here ECE as my percentile was 91. fees of this college was very less as compared to other GFTIs , campus was good and big and have almost all type of sport facilities including gym. campus area is nearly about 450 acres and have very good atmosphere. a boy nearby my hometown has passed from here so he suggested me this college. and after gathering and evaluating all things i thought to took admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose here ECE because of having great scope in future . this branch has scope in both core and it sector. here M.TECH,PHD, MSC, BSC also have been available. some faculties are really very good , supporting as well as having unique style of teaching. some are not up to mark but they all are well qualified. exam hierarchy minor 1, minor 2 and end term exam .minor exams are conducted of 15 marks while major exam is of 50 marks and rest are internal.
Internships Opportunities :
companies like HCL, INFOSYS, CONGINANT visit our campus for internships with stipend. for getting internship CGPA should be higher than 8. work like web developer, app developer are given to do. one should have good skill for getting good stipend.
Placement Experience :
for placement there should not be any backlogs , and CGPA should be greater than 7 . for recruitment generally visiting companies are TCS, COGINANT, INFOSYS, TATA,JP MORGAN, RPSG, etc. big companies do not visit here generally. highest package is 18 LPA while average package is 5 LPA . placement is not vey good here but is satisfactory. you have to give efforts from your side. i would like to go for placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During time of registration you have to pay 67000 which includes admission charge, first semester fees and many other facilities charges. Per semester charge is 37000 (74000 for a year) hostel charge is included in it. you have to pay mess charges extra as well. total tuition fees for completing courses would be nearly 310000. college give tuition fee waiver to high ranked student on Joint entrance exam mains rank basis. some private scholarships are also available like swaraj Mahindra , Simons and reliance etc. you can avail scholarship amount of 20000 per semester. semester fees may increase a little bit.
Campus Life :
campus life is pretty well have lots of fun here either in academics or other activities. shopping complex is available which includes shops like restaurant, grocery ,stationary shop . for full fulling basic needs you have not to go outside. health center is also available . almost most of books are available in library. this college has various clubs like MAVREICS, NSS ,ENDEAVOUR, SSDC(which is coding club). cultural fest is held every year known as MADHURAM. technical fest is also held every year. evert types of sports facilities are available .big football ground , basketball ground is available. stadium is there for cricket. facilities for indoor games like TT badminton is also provided.
Hostel Facilities :
yes i reside in hostel which has been provided to me at the time of admission. hostel fees is nearly about 4000 per semester . mess charge is 3000 per month . mess is satisfactory. for hostel allotment you have to bring id card which will be given to you at the time of admission . PG is available within radius of 1km. mess and hostel charge is affordable.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
