- The infrastructure is quite modern with centralised ac and an peace environment to study.
- The faculty is also very cooperative and always available for our doubts.
Dislikes
- There are not many things too dislike but one point is that the admin office may sometimes be chaotic.
- The washroom are clean but during an event the washroom gets quite untidy.
Remarks :
The main factor is that its one off the best in West Bengal with placements assured. There were no such interviews or written test but you need too have a certain percentage off marks in class 12. You also need to have good behavioural certification from school.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is a great course with lot too learn. You can also enroll in hackathons and various other competitions organised by the college. Faculty are very nice and are available for you anytime. You can also enrol for various conventions by the college.
Internships Opportunities :
I personally have opted internship in ARC Solutions and college will provide various links to enrol for internships. Working there help me gain a lot off experience in my field and also helped me too gain more knowledge about it.
Placement Experience :
A lot off companies come for placement starting from 6 lakhs till 5-6 crores per year. Placements round are quite easy as college faculty go through how to perform for placements many time and also provide us with a lot off interview questions.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So basically per sem fees is 79000 and there is admission fee off 2000 only . Scholarship are available for all and you can enroll in them as the college administrators are very cooperative. You can get more information about it in the admin office.
Campus Life :
The campus itself feels like home with family vibes. There are a lot off social and cultural groups too enrol and participate. Also sports group are there making it a variety off options for future growth.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
