- I like the infrastructure of my college. It is very open and air comes from every window. I like that. Facultis are also very good and supportive.
- Campus life is also great. Seniors are also very good.

- I really dislike the very strict rules of our college.
- I really dislike the guards because each and every time they make chaos with students intentionally.
Remarks :
Written test is available as IEMJEE I chose the college for better placement opportunities. Moreover my father had known about it from other freinds of his Last year placement were poor but this time it was very well
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is based on basic b.tech syllabus Easily found on YouTube for free Two mid terms are taken before every semester exam Including the whole semester 145 days classes happen and remaining days theroy exams and practical exams are taken
Internships Opportunities :
Free internship opportunities are given by college after 2nd year. Internships are valuable for CV Also that, the facultis give training and opportunities to opt for Coursera courses. Internships are useful and help in job interviews
Placement Experience :
Job opportunities were poor last year 2023-2024 But 2024-2025 session placements went very good Placement training are going on for us and later again, all the juniors are instructed from 2nd year itself to manage certificates and opt for courses and internships
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees- 1.5Lakhs Per Semester fees- 75k Scholarship avail for students with Vivekananda scholarship. 2022 student fees is mentioned above 2024 student per sem fees 95k Per year fees- 1L90k For backlogs, 1100rs is taken for all exams
Campus Life :
College events goes very smooth Social life is very good, No ragging, Teaches and Other Faculties are very good and friendly Events occur every week on different different bases but not too big events, but managed in a low base
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel warden is strict Hostel rules are strict Hostel entry time before 7pm Hostel has 4floors Warden stays inside hostel Less number of shops are there around hostel Bus available and it's near Newtown busstand

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
