Remarks :
The location of the college is good and you should have no problem reaching the location. The college is well reputed and better than most of the government colleges. There were however so such tests and Group discussions. You can apply through the Centralized Portal for admission , the merit list is prepared using your last examination (Class 12th) marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers are really good they guide and help you . I chose this course because I was interested in the field of finance and wanted to make a solid base of it. The teachers are highly experienced and qualified. The curriculum is being updated time to time to provide the students enough experience that help them in the real world. The exams are held timely and the difficulty level is mid.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Semester fees is Rs.3600/Semester and so the yearly fees becomes Rs.7200 for both the Reserved and Unreserved Students. The Admission fees is Rs.4100(one-time) for Unreserved Students and the reserved students usually can get 15-20% off on the admission fees. You can apply for various scholarships such as The Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship, Kanyashree(only females), National Scholarship,etc. The scholarship amounts range in between 12000-20000 depending on certain criterias.
Campus Life :
The annual Social Fest 'PRAYAS' is usually held in the month of January, many celebrities are invited to perform in the fest and you get to experience the vibes. The library is huge and you get almost every book and journal, you can also borrow them easily. You get both indoor and outdoor games such as Carrom, Chess, Table tennis, cricket ,football,etc. The college also has some groups such as Photography club, Eco club , Film making club,etc.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
