- Environment is good no problem cleanliness is there , faculty has all type of things which are needed, campus life is great .
- In my opinion teachers are main to the reputation of college and it is perfect.
Dislikes
- Nothing about to dislike but for some students the reputation in not like before.
- Our moms and elders told it is very much respected and appreciated if you get chance in the college in early days.
Remarks :
No written test is required but minimum 55% in 12th is needed but in some year percentage could be higher or lower according to the percentage of total student who applied the form. Cutt off in generally high and I prepare knowing I have to take admission in this clg.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because it well suit me for my career and interest.Best quality teachers help you in your each doubt.Teaching method can be physical or in projector in the college according to subject
Internships Opportunities :
I've not known to any of these till now.But surely I'll get internship but maximum student don't go they prefer to outside companies. As the stipend is about 10k students prefer to apply for job from outside.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria is to have good CGPA . I've not seen any recruiter to visit our department but I know they arrive on last year .Average salary should be around 12-15k and maximum is 50000+ depending upon the student potential.About 80-90% student can get placements. After getting the degree I would gather deeper knowledge in commerce field especially in Accounting or persuade for any govt exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is scholarship of ?12000 per year(swami vivekananda scholarship), student must pass with 6.0 cgpa to get for 3 yrs . SC,ST has fees deduction allowance. I have paid minimum 2300 per semester and max 3500-3700.There is good infrastructure of library and management is excellent teachers are super helpful. If you are general caste you can also get some deduction of fees on valid reason by requesting to the authority.
Campus Life :
Many fest like welcoming freshers , Saraswati puja, College social occur every year to encourage students. They also collect sports interested persons make team and play in various venue also persons with high potential in sports of any field are referred to various competitions.I personally don't prefer to talk about politics but yes there is students union group active in the college .
Hostel Facilities :
There are no mess or pg in the college but students can rent pg nearby at affordable prices. My home is around 1km from college so I don't have to rent or do anything. . The clg location is in the heart of chakdaha which is about 5 mins in bike from station and 3 mins from state general hospital.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
