- Infrastructure and campus are well good. You enjoy campus life but cafeteria is too small .
- Cafeteria size is too small. College should make the cafeteria large. Because every student get hungry after attend their lecture classes.
Dislikes
- There is no internship opportunity but you can grab off campus internship opportunity.
Remarks :
The faculty and teaching staffs are very helpful. This college is environment friendly and helpful for learning new technology. Labs are well mannered and educators are delivered lectures that every student learn from basic.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All faculty staffs are well educated because all professors have phd degree so that they will deliver best content to the student. All faculty members are friendly and they easily clear the doubt of their students.
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn't get any internship opportunity but I got so many offers from off campus from tech startups that ther are hired so many roles like software engineer intern or full stack developer and web development.
Placement Experience :
There is no internship opportunity provide by college but you can get off campus and placement is good of our college because many big tech giants will come and hire 250 students from every company.so mostly 80 percent student placed and 20 percent student go for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees for BTech CSE is 480000 and there is also scholarship facility. For other states student there is also a scholarship facility and also have a loan facility for that student who didn't pay their college fees.
Campus Life :
There is beautiful campus of our college because in Durgapur located every college campus is not so good but our college campus is environment friendly. And also a fest organised by our college community because fun is more important in life of having learn.
Hostel Facilities :
No I didn't opted hostel because many of my friends opted hostel because they are from other states so they told that hostel mess food is good but some time not so good. But they also told that hostel life is best life if you are doing engineering.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
