No there will be no group discussion and any admission tests as it is our government college i.e.Nit Jalandhar that comes as free seat underr jee mains exam after completion of the 12th The factor onchoae this college is because of the good placement in my Instrumentation branch and ir hlgivea more than or around 9-10 lpa of average package per person and and the placement percentage is also quiet good so you can take or select this college as the first priority in tier 2 college category
Here the courses and faculty curriculum is quite decent but not that much as we expect also we need to understand mostly ourselves well here there will be no spoon feeding as we get in school we need to manage our academic year by ourselves every year
Yes I have opted for ptms ,and vizag steel plant you will get an website where you will get internship application from that company and backlogs will not be included or an issue in these so you can get internship easily
Here the placements opportunities are very good if you are serious about placements in on campus placements you may get very good average salary package which is more than 10lpa so need to worry about it and summer training internships are mandatory as it provides 2 credits
I'm currently a student at NIT Jalandhar, and here's an honest take on the fee structure: The B.Tech tuition fee is rs 62,500 per semester for general category students, but the fee structure is very considerate for economically weaker sections and reserved categories. SC/ST and PwD students are completely exempt from tuition fees. For General/OBC students, there are slabs based on annual family income: Less than rs 1 lakh: Full tuition fee waived. Between rs 1–5 lakh: Pay only 1/3rd of the tuition fee. Above rs 5 lakh: Full fee applicable. Apart from tuition, other charges like exam fees, library, internet, and lab maintenance come to around ?22,000–?30,000 per semester depending on whether you're a hosteller or day scholar. Hostel and Mess Fees: Hostel fees are around rs 68,000 per year, and mess fees are roughly rs 25,000 per semester. The hostels are decent, and the mess food is manageable. If u are eligible for scholarship then nsp is the scholarship website to get our scholarship amt.
Here the campus is full of greenary and the campus is very beautiful and people are also well active with eachother and mostly people won't hold grudges instead they hold good relations with everyone clubs are also very good and infrastructure is quite decent
Hostels will be provided by themselves with a message fee of 25,500 per semester and hostel food is similar to every other blocks and it is good but they stick to only some vegetables for every year so it's good but u may get bored they will provide a website to register for hostel and mess

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
