- The college campus is very good there is greenery in the college peaceful environment you're far way from the city there is no pollution in the college you get fresh air . College campus is just like tier 1 iit, nit
- Facilities which we get in the college is quite good classroom are fully air conditioned with smart boards available in the classroom room
Dislikes
- There is no night life in the college there is certain time limit in the college at night For boys it's 9:00 to 9:30 pm For girls it's 7:00 to 7:30 pm Within this time period you have to report to your respective hostel
- There is no place to hangout nearby outside the college City is far way from the college and there is issue of transportation too in the college there are buses available in the respective time period
Remarks :
Best factors for which I am at this college is Fees is affordable Enviornment is good Campus is very good you will get diversity here in the college For taking admission in the college you have to give entrance test of jee mains and you have to secure 75% in your class 12 board exam and after giving jee mains examination you have to go through counselling process which is jossa and csab there is two way of getting Admission in this college that is from jossa either or csab
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I was always passionate about civil engineering works i always wanted to work on a project which has its physical value . Faculty are highly educated and maximum of them are being graduated from top of the institute like iit ,nit and from top GFTI faculties are very cooperative and helpful in nature Semester curriculum is divided into three exams two exams are minor test which contains of 15 marks each and one Major examination is held every semester which contains of 50 marks and 10-10 marks is for assignment and viva out of 100 you have to score 33 marks to pass the exam
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any kind of intership because currently I am in the first year of college but seniors of my college has opted for the internship which was being provided by the college, companies like infosys, Capgemini etc take students for the internship
Placement Experience :
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total tution fee and hostel fee is 317000 for 4 years which hostel fee and tution fee At the time of admission you will pay 70000 which includes tution fee hostel fee registration fee caution money and other charges In the final year student will get 14500 caution money which they had paid in the first year but caution money they will get is without interest Semester fee is 37500 which includes ( tution fee + hostel fee) Everyone has to pay equal fee there is no reservations for categories
Campus Life :
There are total two fest which is organized annually in the college which is tech fest and cultural fest Cultural fest is also known as madhuram Madhuram always happen in the month of April and tech fest always held in the month of September Library is big enough you will get ample amount of books in the library there is also study room in the library which is open 24/7 for students Sports facilities is excellent there is very sports available in the college like long tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, cricket, hockey, football and one more exciting thing is there in the college that is swimming pool There are various clubs available in the college student can join the clubs or society according to their interest and domain some of the most famous clubs names are endeavour, sviesa, Mavericks
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is good enough there is total 10 boys hostel available in the college and 3 girls hostel is there in the college Hostel provides you facilities like water freezer, geyser and tv room and infrastructure is not so good but yea you can easily stay here First two years of your college you've to stay at tripe sharing room in the thrid year if you had maintained good cgpa above 8 then you can accommodate in single room in the final year every students get single room Mess food is good but you will get only veg meal in the mess ,menu is well structured they cook everything accordingly to the schedule mention in the menu book Mess fee is 3010 per month

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
