- Faculties are very good and very helpful.
- Sprots and cultural programs like fest, freshers etc are there for refreshment.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure. That is a little problem. But the new campus is in process which will overcome this problem.
- College canteen needs an upgradation. Food is good but the canteen area can be more arranged.
Remarks :
I heard about this college from previous students of the college. There are two ways to get admission in the college of B. Pharm. They are WBJEE and JEE Main. If you have wbjee rank within 30000 then you can get admission. There is PGET and GPAT exam that is for admission in M. Pharm program.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology) course. The fees amount for 4 years B. Pharm is 410000. The fees amount for 2 years M. Pharm in Pharmacology is 295000 and the fees for 2 years M. Pharm in Pharmacology is 325000. You can avail the SVMCM scholarship for pursuing study which gives Rs 60000/ year. Faculties are helpful. You will get any type of study related help from them any time.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I've not opted any internship till now. But there are several companies like East india, Albert David, mendine, CAPLET, gluconate, nuak Laboratories etc which provide internship. You can also do tour project works from college other than industries.
Placement Experience :
Place ment is more than average. There are companies like Alchem, macleods, alembic, nestle, og healthcare etc which guves job offers. There is also hospital pharmacy jobs. Nearly 75% of students will be placed directly from the college placed others will also get job from referrals of college.
Campus Life :
The college hour is 10-5. Within it there is Tiffin hours. There is ground inside the campus where u can play in your break times. There are several cultural programs like freshers, fest and other interesting events. Library is full of study books, you can't find books other than study. There are several clubs like photography club, music club, dance club and others. There the many sports event in the sports time of college and there is daily practice for outdoor games. There is no hostel facility from 2023.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
