Remarks :
I had to fill up the form online for online admission to get admission to this college. Here teachers and staff are friendly and help us with any problems and issues if faced by any student. Its admission process is also easy no need to worry and if you join the WhatsApp group made by office staff then you can get every detail about the college organization. They also organise events and fest guests are also invited. They also provide good education teachers are friendly and help can help you regarding any matter that you can't solve. Throughout whole my college journey I have never seen any mistreatment by any seniors or teachers. This college does not support ragging and helps students to speak for themselves. You can attend webinars arranged by the teachers to gain experience and knowledge about particular ways. So, I would recommend you to join this college for a bright future and learn something good from here and help each other.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I had an interest and curiosity to learn more about accountancy and finance. This college is Naac accredited B+ and is very good and nice in giving students advice about students careers. The teachers have a good method of first explaining everything then we did 2 3 sums and then teachers would take the test at the end of the week to see what mistakes are made by students and to correct them. The exams were held on time sometimes the test happened about 1 week late teachers were cooperative and friendly. After 4 months internal exams were held and then after a month, external exams were taken. The fees were not much high compared to other colleges it was budget friendly they even helped students to get different types of scholarships for educational funds. There were poor funds for students who couldn't afford that much fees the college organization also helped them regarding this matter. I also got scholarship money from college timely.
Internships Opportunities :
I had done an internship with Medius management but it was not provided by the college I searched online and applied for it. It was a telecaller job to call customers regarding their loan payments. They were pending for months and they were requested to make payment within the due dates.
Placement Experience :
They organize seminars for placement facilities and provide us with all details and we had to attend the seminar then all the questions were answered by the organizing department and improvement of skills training was provided by them.
Campus Life :
A Freshers party was held by seniors to welcome us then the women's day celebration happened in college then the arts festival Holi fest honorable guests and famous personalities were invited to college and we had a blast at that time. Each section had 5 to 6 classrooms and floors were divided to attend classes regarding the particular subjects. There are no hostel facilities in this college but you can find girls pgs near the college its also budget-friendly. They held sports for everyone and my friends won prizes and all students participated in the sports. The canteen food is good and hygienic.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
