There are Good aspects: 1. Diversity in the college, students come from all over India 2. Good infrastructure, disabled friendly 3. Good faculty 4. Good study environment 5. Mecca, the biggest fest of Delhi University(DU) also organized at Hindu College 6. Environment-friendly, there is so much greenery in our college Bad aspects: 1. The library is not open 24×7 2. There is no boys hostel 3. The quality of food served in the canteen is not good, 4. Drinking water is not good, (No RO water) Admission process; When I was admitted to the college it was based on 12th class marks, now this system has changed. UGC has introduced the Cuet for all central universities. Students take this exam after this college has published its cutoff for admission. Those students who clear the cutoff get admission into the college. Hindu College is one of the top colleges of DU, so it has a very high cutoff as compared to other DU colleges. Hindu is the dream college of many students in the country.
Why did I choose this course: Because I want to take the civil services exam after this course, this course is best suitable for any civil services aspirants. Qualification of faculty: Most faculties are PhD here. They're good at teaching, very kind and polite behavior. They are very friendly and helpful. Terms of exams: 1 semester is 6 months, and at the end of every semester exam is conducted. Difficulty level: The exam is easy to moderate, not very difficult. Fee hike: As compared to other Du colleges, our college fees are very high. Scholarship: I haven't got any scholarship. There is a scholarship named 'Rajeev Bhargava' which is given only to 1 student in the whole college, that's not good.
No, I haven't opted for any internship. There are greater opportunities for internships in our college because our college is one of the best colleges of Delhi University, that's why companies prefer our college.
The course that I have opted for has very little scope for an internship but other courses in our college have greater opportunities for an internship like commerce and science-related courses. Many placement companies come to our college. They offer good packages to the students like more than 10 lakh. There are approximately 25-30% of students get placements. My plans: After getting the degree, I want to take the civil services exam.
Campus life is good but things are very costly on campus. Fest name: There are so many colleges on the north campus of DU. Every college has its separate fest. These fests are held in April every year. Our college fest's name is Mecca which is very popular among all Delhi University colleges, students from all over Du colleges come to this fest. Library: Our college library is very big. It has thousands of books and journals in the library of our college. Sports: Our college has a huge sports ground. There are many sports played by students in our college like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball etc. Social group: There are many societies in our college like Caucus: discussion forum, Symposium, Civil Services Society, pancetta: the Environment Society, Alankar: Indian Classical Music Society, etc which are completely run by students themselves. Hostel: Currently, our college has only a girl's hostel, which is quite good. But it is very expensive.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
