- Infrastructure is newly built and top notch
- Faculty are all PhD holders and very friendly
- As we moved in to our permanent campus, life is good here , but it can be better
Dislikes
- Remote location, college is very far from main city and transportation facilities are very expensive
- Weather is very abnormal here , mostly scorching sun is there
- Few basic amenities can be provided more
Remarks :
For iits one have to pass jee mains + advance with decent score, I got around 16k rank in mains and only option in the josaa councling was iit bhilai , admission was done through josaa councling and everything was smooth , I prepared for jee in class 11th-12th Through online classes,
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as it was the only option in the josaa councling according to my rank , Faculties here in iit bhilai are all PhD holders from reputed premium institutes of India , here in iit bhilai we have 2 major exams and 2 quizzes in a semester, Iit bhilai is a little bit costly iit compared to other iits
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are good here in iit bhilai as we have a center for currier planing and services which help students to get internships and placement through various methods. Recruiters like Deloitte, bosh , Samsung, Amazon, cognizant etc made offers , , highest package is 48 lpa , and average of 15~16 lpa
Campus Life :
Fest in iit bhilai are phenomenal as I have heard, we have meraz(techno cultural fest) in month of Feb -March , we have ciao for freshers in month of September, and many other fests , we have a newly built massive library with decent enough books Sports and extra curricular is a weak point of iit bhilai as we just had a shift from our temporary campus to permanent so things are not ready yet completely, We have various groups , you name any , we have it, dance singing robotics motor sports and many more , we also have a student run website named polaris Hostel in iit bhilai are newly built and good, in first year you get 3 seater and in second year and above u get 2 seater room,mess food is also ok we get less varieties but the quality is ok , registration process was all done by college itself and hostel and mess fees are bit on a higher side compared to other iits

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
