- College campus is very big. Each and every classroom are air conditioned have smart board for students. Have music room with music instruments, game room, canteen.
- Facilities are very supportive. They take classes regularly and clear all our doubts. Even after classes they clear our doubts. Also give suggestions for our bright future. Help in laboratory work. They are really very good.
Dislikes
- I like my college very much .. nothing about this college that i dislike.
Remarks :
The environment of this college is very good. Campus is also very big and have an open air auditorium for events, have a music room with music instruments, games room. Every classes are air conditioned, have badminton court, canteen and more facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm in biotechnology department so mostly we need a proper laboratory with proper equipment here we get all of these.. laboratory of this college is very good. Facilities are very supportive, friendly and guide each and every student. They take classes regularly, clear our doubts even after classes. They also give suggestions for our bright future. Course fee of this college is very affordable.
Internships Opportunities :
this year i got a placement from a well known company with a good package. Thanks to SVIMS to give the opportunity and the SVIMS faculties to guide me through the entire course and being that much supportive.
Placement Experience :
Placement of this college is very good. Many well known companies are came and offered job to students. 90% students can get placement from this college. The package that companies offered are upto 8lakh.
Campus Life :
Campus of this college is very big have an open air auditorium for events. Music room with lots of instruments, game room and also have a big canteen where students can eat. Zash-N is the name of the college fest where well known artists are performed college students can also take part in this programme. Despite of college fest lots of events are happened like E4, basant utsav, sarswati puja, fresher's named Parichiti, farewell party named Vallete. Lots of entertainment are there

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
