- The placement of this college is very good which I liked more
- The greenery of the college and it's natural beauty and pollution free environment

- The process of admission is not so fast and it takes time for refund etc. which I don't like
- The curriculum of this course should be modified and it should be effective teaching method not old fashioned
Remarks :
The ranking of this college is 7th among top nits and having 40 NIRF ranking. There was no group discussion kr interview but the selection was on the basic of rank of JEE exam which is conducted by NTA.After allotment of college through Josaa counseling and after allotment of college,we have to verify online document s with some partial few submission.After then we have to go for physical reporting in the allotted college and there the documents are verified and admission form is also submitted with allotment of hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is little bit old fashioned means there is not so much modern technologies are involved.There is 75% attendance criteria which should be optional so that we could get time for thinking something new ideas irrespective of attending lecture only just for attendance.The faculties are fully qualified and experienced.There are exams in three shifts mid term, minor and end sem exams.The difficulty level is medium.The fee is very less as it is governmented college as compared or other colleges.It gives scholarship on the basis of income criteria only.
Internships Opportunities :
It is my second year so I have not opted for any internship this year .I will apply for this in next year 2025 .But as per data of our senior I can tell that which companies came to our college for internship that is Microsoft with 60 though per month stipend,Nvidia with 30 thousand per month stipend.Jp morgan internship,DRDO etc.
Placement Experience :
The placement is the best thing of the college which attracts students to this underdeveloped area.The campus give good placement with an average of 17 lakh per year and 80 lakhs per year is the highest package.The on campus internship is also provided.The companies like Amazon, flipkart, Myntra, Nvidia, Google etc coke to our campus for placement and internship
Campus Life :
The life at campus is wonderful.There are many things to explore.There are different clubs which focuses on sports, coding, dance, music and social activities.Two types grand fest happens in the college first is cultural fest Incandescence in February, second is Technosis in November.There is one Think India organisation which works on social activities in college and connects with other colleges.The hostel is bad ,it is not eatable but we have to eat .The accomodation is free ,only we have to pay for mess fees which is 21500 and it's affordable.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
