Remarks :
The college takes admission completely on the basis on marks. The cut off goes upto 80% for studying honours in science subjects. Ananda Chandra College is the best college for one who wants to gain deep knowledge in whichever field she/he is studying. Proffesors are extremely qualified , each one holding a Phd Degree from reputed colleges of India. They make sure that each student understands their subject from the core level. That's the main reason I chose this college. There are hardly any bad aspects of this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this subject because I was really interested in study maths and topics related to it. The faculty is extremely qualified each holding a PhD degree from reputed colleges of India.They are very serious regarding teaching they come to the class on time and teach very well,they make sure that you student understands each topic very clearly. Semester exams are held every 6 months. Before the semester exam internal exam is taken by the faculty on full syllabus. also a seminar is held before every semester where a student has to select any topic and present it infront of the proffesors. The fees is almost 3500 per semester. It hikes to 4000 rupees when there is computer practical in the semester exam. Student can get scholarship on the basis of their merits course if a student gets above 60 or ever that he or she is eligible for scholarship given by the government. In case of special enability financial assistance is also given by the college authority.
Internships Opportunities :
I have applied to few internships to education technological companies. I have applied for the role of teaching and finance in those internships. I am also teaching students on my own from classes 7 to 12.
Placement Experience :
Till now there is no proper placement sell in our college except for computer science department. But students can apply on their home to different sectors as their choice with their CV prepared.
Campus Life :
Each year and annual fest is held at the college campus during the month of January February. Saraswati Puja is held at the school college campus at in the month of February. Sports event is also organised by the college authority. Science fair, science camp, workshop sir also held at the college campus. There are debate clubs quiz clubs which are jointly run by professors and students. Freshers celebration is also held at the college when new students take admission. The library of the college has 20 amount of books and good area for studying students can go there and study for hours sitting there. Classrooms have to big blackboards and also smart boards in few of them. There are separate boys hostel and girls hostel in the college campus. It is extremely affordable and food qualities also very good as reviewed by the students living there. Number of paying guest houses are also available near the college. Students can take a dent houses or paying guest houses and also live there.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
