- The volleyball court is very big and the garden is very pretty and well maintained.
- Teachers behavior is very good teachers do their job very well.
- Office staffs behaviour is polite they are very helpful.
Dislikes
- Washroom and toilet are worst i have ever seen. Unhygienic toilets are available in our college
- Laboratories quality is bad and computers are poor quality.
- Library quality is very bad old books and out of syllabus books are available.
Remarks :
My college Bengal Institute of Polytechnic is good because the area of the college is the best. The greenery environment is a big ground and the garden is very good. The bad things are the canteen, the bad quality laboratory and also the placement cell. For admission to this college, there are two ways 1st way is the JEXPO exam counseling process and 2nd is Direct admission via management quota. I am a management quota student so I am direct admission to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I love computers and nowadays computer knowledge is a must so I chose this course. The qualification of some teachers is b.tech and some the teachers are m.tech. The course is a semester; every 6 months 1-semester exam happens and the total duration of the course is 3 years for the regular candidates and 2 years for the lateral candidates. Fee hike policy is during admission time fees? 16000 and every semester? 12000. There are student credit cards available.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I don't opt for any internships from the Bengal Institute of Polytechnic, Sagar, birbhum. The placement cell is not active. Our college doesn't provide any placement. Some of the students get placed in companies but they leave the job. If you want to study in this college it's ok but if you want placement it's not possible from the college authority.
Placement Experience :
Bengal Institute of Polytechnic doesn't provide any placement and internships. Eligibility criteria for placement are 70% marks in academics and no back in any subjects. There are no visited companies or recruiters in our college our placement cell is very poor. The placement rate is 1%.
Campus Life :
Bengal Institute of Polytechnic doesn't conduct any fest. In the college library, many course-related books are available but they are old and out of syllabus. The classrooms are big but the fans and lights didn't work properly. There are no social group, clubs, or websites for students. There is a hostel in our college. The quality of food is bad in a week 1 time fish, 1 time chicken, 2 times egg, and the rest of the week sabji tarkari. If you want to be admitted to the hostel fill out the application form at the admission office of our college and pay the required hostel fees.

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects.
