The main factor was to choose this college was this college is older than many other college in west Bengal i.e its first mbbs batch took admission in 2003 and in medical study old college is always preferred due to its facility which increases every year. Another thing was that, thus college has got very good faculty professor are serious about student's studies
As its well known how prestigious is to become a doctor that i too wanted to be so i cracked neet and took admission Faculty here are well qualified and are experienced they try untill they make student understand they literally care about student Examination always happens on time question of internals are mady by faculties only and they gives you little tough questions so that you can get prepared for prof exam Cost of study is very minimal as its government medical college Admissions fee is 1000rs Tution fee per month 750rs which for 54month(i.e full course ) become 40500 Examination fee per subject is 600 which for all 16 subject becomes 8400 Hostel are very cheap cost only 12rs per month becomes 648rs for 54 months total cost become 51548rs
I have nit opted any internship as i am in first prof and internship is after 4th pof. Every student have to serve for atleast 1 year in the government hospital for this you get 20k oer month salary fir your internship
You should pass the prof exam and get the mbbs degree first then you can start your medical practice in your own clinic or in any other hospital or get joined in the vacancy by the government you get 60k to 1 lac per month after your mbbs degree
Recently we had our fest Impulse in September Library is good and have enough book for whole medical carrier Hostel is bit unhygienic and food seems to be ok ok For admission you will have to go through the Councilling process of MCC after you NEET exam The college and hostel is in the city and have good pateint load enough to learn and hostel is in the campus of hospital
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
