- The Main Problem is only about placements and career Option which I found very difficult to explore.
- Political issues is common in our campus.
Remarks :
After Completing my Intermediate I got very much Interested in the Field of Mass Communication and Journalism so I took This Course as My Future Career Option. The Admission is Totally Merit based Which was Conducted by the College itself. So you need a Decent score in 12th to enter into this College. The Cutoff for OBC is generally above 55%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I mentioned earlier I have a deep interest in this field so I chose journalism as my career. I already have good Spoken English communication during my School life so I eagerly want to pursue it. The Course consists of subjects like Verbal and Non-verbal communication so you have to be very good at grammar as well. The Academic pressure is not so much but you have to maintain a good CGPA to grab good Opportunities. Scholarships include the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship and the Krishi Yojna Scholarship. The tuition fee is approx 7000-8000 per year during my Academic year and it also depends on your Category as well.
Placement Experience :
Coming to placements our college doesn't provide any campus placement. During the course, you may get Intern opportunities but for that, you have to maintain your skills and CGPA very well. So I think the college should look after this.
Campus Life :
The Campus in our Institute is very well maintained and it is very beautiful in infrastructure. I shared one of the best memories in those 3 years of my graduation. We got many Social services and Me inducted into Cultural clubs like dance and Rabindra Sangeet as well. The Academic building is well manufactured and The whole is very neat and clean.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
