Likes
- Mostly what I like about this college is the perfect environment which it is situated in in deep forest Tea Garden area.
- Infrastructure is also good there are 4 buildings for this college each buildings which max 4 floors and elevator is also provided
Dislikes
- I mostly like everything but one thing I dislike is that highly reputed MNC such as Google, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, etc doesn't visits our college. Life in college is good .
- One more thing I dislike is that Extracurricular activities are rarely held and infrastructure at some ways
Remarks :
Choosing this college was simple as this was the only college that had Engineering all over north Bengal. As I Studied in TIGPS which is a part of Techno India Group I knew it from there. The bad Aspect of this college is that this college doesn't have Highly reputed Companies placement. Only TCS, CAPGEMINI, MAHINDRA and some of the start-up companies visit.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Currently as of I know there are no fee hikes right now. I chose this course is that I love coding and this course is perfect for future development which is currently booming in the market. Exams are held once or twice in month before the semester examination. Faculty members are moderate mostly are who have studied at the same college only.
Internships Opportunities :
Right now I haven't opted for any internship opportunities as I'm developing my skills right now which is required. There are no current internship opportunities provided by the college right now and I don't this so they have one.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements are moderate as compared to other colleges in North Bengal Most start-up companies visit our college and companies like TCS, WHIPRO, CAPGEMINI, MAHINDRA, etc company come according to the departments. The eligibility criteria is that you must have 8CGPA. Mostly 60% of students get placed if they are good.
Campus Life :
Fests are conducted once or twice a year or the so-called annual fest which is good. There are two libraries so there are multidintious numbers of books provided. Annual sports are held Every year in which you can participate in different sports. As for Extracurricular activities Hackathons, Seminar for DEVOPS and TechFest are hosted most often in the college. There are 3 canteens in our college so food is also kinda good and prices are also all below 100rs Non-Veg and Veg are also provided under this price. Also, the hostel is there with AC.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
