Remarks :
The admission process is simple. You have to come to the Biswabangla campus and talk to the relationship manager of this college. She will guide you through the admission procedure of this college. The process is simple. You just have to present your mark sheets of higher secondary and if you get a higher percentage; you'll likely get a scholarship from this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is on food production and after the course; you become a chef. The faculty of this college is kinda nice but sometimes they are strict on grooming and work-related stuff. They are well qualified as they have been sous and executive chefs of renowned hotels. The exams are divided into 6 semesters and 4 internal exams per semester. The course curriculum is focused on cooking and various cuisines; computers; personal development; nutrition and language. The fee structure is divided into 12 installments and the total fee is 590000.
Internships Opportunities :
My internship companies are Hyatt new Delhi, JW Marriott Kolkata, and Taj Sats Kolkata. The roles of these internships were apprentice; assistant housekeeper; waiter. The stipends were 4k; 2k and 5k respective of the hotels. The main task was to help the higher officials of the assigned department.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for Placey is to score at least 6 cgpa and complete the industrial training and other training. A few visited recruiters are Taj; JW Marriot; oberoi; The park etc. The highest package that was offered was 500000 and the average package was 360000 and some of the students were offered management trainee as well. Almost 90% or above students got placed every year. After getting the degree; I'm going to join Oberoi or Taj as a chef.
Campus Life :
Fests and functions are held on almost every month and there's almost every time something is happening. Like the Durga Puja fest; freshers; Independence Day celebration and much more. There are all course-related books in the library and the journals are also available. The point of this college is there are no sports events or cultural groups and websites that are run by students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
