- I really like the infrastructure it's decent the faculty is amazing campus life sucks sometimes but sometimes feels like heaven
- The college is very supportive and it has a lot of events we can participate and show our talents in
Dislikes
- There are no placements and internships
- No parking area for the students is provided which makes it difficult for students who own vehicles
Remarks :
One very good thing about our college would be that it is a great college to know your worth and improve yourself academically as well as holistically. The bad aspect would be some of the students and teachers with no absolute personality whatsoever. There was no conduction of exams as we were not fully over the pandemic covid 19.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose these courses because I have a very much love for nature and I wanted to know how the tiniest ever living thing lives on earth it's my curiosity about plants that got me hooked on the course. All the faculty are well-educated doctorate people they have excellent communication skills which make there lectures a very interesting one. Exams are quite tough and always on at a perfect time. Fees affordable and there's are a few scholarships you can get
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not yet but as I'll be on the edge of the year of finishing my degree I'll try for internships nearby only. I'll do projects and tasks which will help me do good in my career I would be really happy if the college itself had internships and placements.
Placement Experience :
Unfortunately, no placements are provided by our college and speaking about my plans I would love to pursue a master's in the same subject alongside knowing about the ecosystem as an ecologist that is it.
Campus Life :
Every year the start of spring we conduct a fest and fete this time it was on the 13 and 14th of April it was just amazing. I would want to say that the library and amenities in the classroom are pretty average. There are a lot of clubs we can join and every club has its own unique sports and extracurricular activities are given just enough time as the academics.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for the hostel as I live very near the college. The hostel is not a mess though both the boys and the girls' hostel are not quite decent. Also, the people living in PGs and rents don't usually have a complaint against the locality it's an overall peaceful environment.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
