Undergraduate Programs

Overview of UG Programs

GGSIPU offers a wide range of undergraduate programs across multiple disciplines including Arts, Science, Commerce, and Engineering. Popular undergraduate programs include B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, BA Honours in English and Economics, and the newly introduced BMS program with 60 seats. Admission to undergraduate programs requires candidates to have passed 10+2 with a minimum 50% aggregate marks.

B.Tech Programs

GGSIPU offers B.Tech programs in various engineering disciplines. From the 2026 academic session, B.Tech admissions are based entirely on JEE Main scores and CUET scores. IPU CET is no longer conducted for B.Tech admissions. The university offers specializations in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Automation and Robotics, Internet of Things, Energy Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.

Arts and Commerce Programs

GGSIPU offers BA Honours programs in English, Economics, and Journalism and Mass Communication. These programs are offered through IPU CET and CUET entrance examinations. Admission is based on entrance examination scores followed by counselling and merit-based allocation.

BMS Program

GGSIPU has introduced a new Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program with 60 seats for the 2026 academic session. Candidates can apply through IPU CET or CUET UG. The program provides comprehensive management education combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

Postgraduate Programs

Overview of PG Programs

Doctoral Programs

PhD Admission Process

GGSIPU offers PhD programs across multiple disciplines. The PhD admission process involves application submission, document verification, entrance examination, and final selection. Applications are received from February 2026 to March 2026. Document submission deadline is April 2026. The university releases a list of candidates exempted from the PhD Entrance Test (PET) in April 2026. The entrance test is conducted between April and May 2026. Final admission for PhD programs begins in July 2026.

PhD Eligibility

Candidates must possess a master's degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university. Candidates with bachelor's degrees in specific disciplines may also be eligible for certain PhD programs as per university guidelines. Admission Process

Entrance Examinations Accepted

GGSIPU accepts multiple national and university-level entrance examinations for admission to various programs.
