GGSIPU B.Tech Admission 2026

GGSIPU B.Tech admission 2026 depends on JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 rank. IPU CET is not the entrance route for B.Tech. Seats in USIT and 40+ affiliated engineering colleges in Delhi NCR are allotted through centralised GGSIPU counselling based on the JEE Main merit list.

GGSIPU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Students must pass Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. They also need a valid JEE Main 2026 rank and at least 55% marks in the PCM aggregate.

GGSIPU B.Tech Selection Criteria 2026

For B.Tech, seat allotment is decided by JEE Main rank and the preference order submitted by the student. GGSIPU does not conduct a PI or GD for B.Tech. Delhi domicile and Delhi state candidates may receive reservation benefits in some affiliated colleges.

• If seats remain empty after JEE Main-based rounds, CUET UG merit is used for filling vacant seats.
• Students must register for B.Tech counselling only through ipu.admissions.nic.in. College-level counselling is not allowed.

Key Insight: IPU CET does not cover regular GGSIPU B.Tech admission. A student with JEE Main rank is eligible for B.Tech counselling even without appearing for IPU CET.

How to Apply for B.Tech at GGSIPU?

• Register for JEE Main 2026 at jeemain.nta.nic.in and appear for Paper 1.
• After the JEE Main result, register for GGSIPU B.Tech counselling at ipu.admissions.nic.in.
• Enter preferred colleges and branches in the correct order.
• Check the allotment result and pay the commitment fee before the deadline.
• Visit the allotted college for document verification and final admission.

GGSIPU MBBS and BDS Admission 2026

GGSIPU MBBS admission is based on NEET UG 2026 merit at affiliated medical institutions. MBBS and BDS admission follows the applicable GGSIPU and medical admission guidelines. The university conducted MBBS counselling for the 2026 cycle, including Round 1 and later rounds.

GGSIPU MBBS Eligibility Criteria

For MBBS, GGSIPU considers NEET UG merit along with Class 12 PCB marks and category-wise requirements.

GGSIPU MBBS Selection Criteria

Admission to GGSIPU MBBS is granted through NEET UG 2026 merit or All India Rank. There is no separate GGSIPU entrance test and no personal interview for MBBS. Students must follow the counselling schedule and seat-allocation rules issued by the university.

How to Apply for MBBS at GGSIPU Affiliated Colleges?

• Appear for NEET UG 2026 and qualify as per the required criteria.
• Register for GGSIPU MBBS Code 103 counselling.
• Upload documents and complete choice filling on the GGSIPU portal.
• Check the seat allotment result, pay the required fee and report to the allotted college.

Other GGSIPU UG Programmes 2026

GGSIPU also offers UG admission through IPU CET, CUET, NATA and other entrance routes, depending on the programme.

UG Eligibility Criteria

• BCA: Minimum 50% in Class 12, with English as a subject.
• BA LLB (Hons.) / BBA LLB (Hons.): Minimum 50% in Class 12.
• B.Pharm: Minimum 55% in Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry plus Mathematics/Biology.

Key Insight: GGSIPU does not round off eligibility marks. A score of 49.99% will not be treated as 50%.

GGSIPU PG Admission 2026

GGSIPU MBA Admission 2026

GGSIPU MBA admission 2026 is offered under Program Code 101. It includes MBA, MBA International Business, MBA Financial Management and MBA Analytics. Seat allotment follows a four-level order: CAT 2025, then CMAT 2026, then IPU CET MBA, and then CUET PG.

Every accepted MBA applicant must appear for a Personal Interview. The final merit gives 70% weightage to the entrance exam score and 30% to the Personal Interview.

GGSIPU MBA Eligibility Criteria

Students need a recognised graduation degree of 3 years or more with at least 50% aggregate in any stream. Engineering and technology graduates with 50% are also eligible. Final-pass students of ICAI, ICWAI or ICSI are accepted too.

GGSIPU MBA Selection Criteria 2026

MBA merit is prepared using 70% entrance exam score and 30% Personal Interview. USMS, the University School of Management Studies, does not have management quota seats.

• Affiliated unaided MBA colleges have 10% management quota seats. Students must contact the concerned college for these seats.
• GGSIPU MBA fee for the full 2-year course is INR 4.75 lakhs.

Program-specific requirements:

• MBA (Financial Analysis): Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Operations Research at graduation level.
• MBA (Disaster Management): At least 1 year of professional experience.
• MBA (Fire & Industrial Safety): Relevant degree in safety/fire-related fields, or any Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree with 2 years of relevant work experience.

How to Apply for MBA at GGSIPU?

• Appear in CAT 2025, CMAT 2026 or IPU CET MBA 2026. At least one accepted exam is required.
• Register at ipu.admissions.nic.in with the entrance exam score.
• Attend the Personal Interview scheduled by GGSIPU.
• Check the merit list and fill college choices during counselling.

Other GGSIPU PG Programmes 2026

For MCA and other PG programmes, the entrance route changes by course. Students must follow the entrance exam and counselling rule notified for the programme they choose.

PG Eligibility Criteria

• MCA: Minimum 50% in graduation, with Mathematics/Computer Science-related requirements as prescribed.

GGSIPU Seat Allocation, Sliding and Spot Counselling

• Round-wise allotment: GGSIPU allots seats as per merit/rank, category, region, programme and submitted choices.
• Sliding round: A student may move to a higher-preference choice when a seat becomes available.
• Spot round: Vacant seats left after regular counselling may be filled through spot rounds, subject to programme rules.
• Choice filling: Students should place colleges and programmes carefully because allotment depends on the submitted preference order.
• Vacant seats: GGSIPU releases programme-wise vacancy or seat-status notices before applicable spot rounds.

GGSIPU Scholarships 2026

GGSIPU students may apply for university-facilitated, government and external scholarship schemes, provided they meet the eligibility rules of the scheme.

• Kotak Kanya Scholarship: Scholarship opportunity for eligible female students pursuing professional higher education.
• Raman Kant Munjal Scholarship: Financial support for eligible students in higher education, based on the scheme's income and academic rules.
• Government Scholarships: Eligible students may apply for central and Delhi government scholarship schemes through the prescribed portals.

Reservation and Special Categories

• GGSIPU provides reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD and Defence candidates as per institute and regional rules.
• Delhi and Outside Delhi candidates are considered separately for eligible programmes. Reservation percentages differ by category and institution.
• Supernumerary seats are available under special categories such as Single Girl Child, Sports Quota and Orphaned Children.
• Students claiming any reserved or special category seat must submit valid documents or certificates during admission.

GGSIPU Admission Withdrawal & Fee Refund 2026

• Students may withdraw admission within the notified withdrawal deadline.
• For online counselling, withdrawal is done through the student's GGSIPU admission account.
• Refunds are processed under the applicable fee-refund rules after required deductions.
• Students withdrawing after the deadline may not receive a refund.
• Refunds for online withdrawals are usually credited to the bank account given during registration.
