GGSIPU UG Admission 2026

GGSIPU UG admission includes B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, BA-LLB, BBA-LLB, and other undergraduate routes. The university uses national entrance exams for major courses and then conducts or coordinates counselling based on the programme.

GGSIPU B.Tech Admission 2026

B.Tech admission at GGSIPU covers more than 11,000 seats in over 20 affiliated engineering colleges across Delhi NCR. For B.Tech (Code 131), JEE Main Paper 1 is the main exam used for allotment. USICT at Dwarka campus is the main engineering school of GGSIPU, and its Round 2 closing ranks in 2026-27 ranged from 1,13,164 to 2,46,829 across categories.

Annual fees at GGSIPU University Schools are INR 3,05,900 per year for standard engineering branches, based on the 2025-26 reference rate at USS.

Note: GGSIPU does not hold an entrance exam for B.Tech Code 131. Students with a valid JEE Main Paper 1 rank can register for GGSIPU counselling. IPU CET registration is needed only for Biotechnology (Code 130) and lateral entry courses. JEE Main rank holders do not need a separate IPU CET registration for Code 131.

B.Tech seat allotment depends only on rank. Engineering admission at GGSIPU does not include interviews or Group Discussions.

• USICT CSE (Dwarka campus): Round 2 JEE Main closing rank in 2026-27 ranged from 1,13,164 to 2,46,829 across seat categories.
• Affiliated colleges: Rank ranges were wider, and some spot round allotments in 2026-27 happened beyond rank 7 lakh.
• Delhi-category and outside-Delhi-category seats have separate merit lists. Closing ranks change by domicile and reservation category.
• A student who gets a seat through JEE Main or CET cannot apply through the CUET merit list in the same admission cycle.

How to Apply for B.Tech at GGSIPU?

The B.Tech process at GGSIPU is online for most steps, so students usually do not need to visit the university during counselling.

• Step 1: Appear in JEE Main Paper 1 conducted by NTA at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Step 2: After JEE Main results, register for GGSIPU counselling at ipu.admissions.nic.in.
• Step 3: Pay the INR 2,500 registration fee, which is non-refundable and excludes service charges.
• Step 4: Enter college and branch choices from the available list of more than 20 affiliated colleges.
• Step 5: Check the online allotment result. Accept the allotted seat and pay the first-year fee before the deadline.
• Step 6: Visit the allotted college with original documents for verification and enrolment.

GGSIPU MBBS and BDS Admission 2026

MBBS admission at GGSIPU-affiliated medical colleges is based on NEET UG 2026. These colleges take part in MCC All India Quota counselling and DGHS Delhi state quota counselling. GGSIPU-affiliated government and private medical colleges in Delhi are covered under this process.

Annual fees for government-quota MBBS seats are INR 53,000 per year, based on the 2025-26 reference rate for government-affiliated medical colleges. Fees for private GGSIPU medical colleges are regulated separately by SFRC Delhi.

Key insight: MBBS students admitted to GGSIPU-affiliated colleges must submit a compulsory service bond. Students should read the bond duration and penalty terms in Appendix 14 of the GGSIPU admission brochure before accepting a seat. The bond applies to all MBBS students, including All India Quota and Delhi state quota students.

NEET UG rank is the only basis for MBBS allotment. GGSIPU does not conduct a separate university-level test or interview for MBBS admission.

• All India Quota, 15% of seats: MCC conducts counselling at mcc.nic.in, and GGSIPU medical colleges participate in this pool.
• Delhi State Quota, 85% of seats: DGHS Delhi holds separate counselling for state quota seats through a separate Delhi state counselling portal.
• The compulsory service bond must be submitted before joining. AIQ and state quota students both have to follow this rule.
• GGSIPU follows MCC timelines for joining, seat blocking, and forfeiture rules. Students must track the MCC schedule along with the GGSIPU portal.

How to Apply for MBBS at GGSIPU?

Most MBBS admission steps are handled through MCC and DGHS rather than through GGSIPU's own admission portal.

• Step 1: Appear in NEET UG 2026 conducted by NTA.
• Step 2: After results, register at ipu.admissions.nic.in for GGSIPU counselling participation.
• Step 3: For AIQ seats, register and take part in MCC counselling at mcc.nic.in.
• Step 4: For Delhi state quota seats, register separately for DGHS Delhi counselling.
• Step 5: Submit original documents and the compulsory service bond undertaking at the allotted college.

GGSIPU Law Admission 2026

Law admission at GGSIPU includes BA-LLB and BBA-LLB, which are 5-year integrated courses, through CLAT UG. LLM admission is through CLAT PG. The CLAT Consortium does not conduct GGSIPU counselling, so students must register separately on the GGSIPU portal.

Annual fees for Law programmes, including LLB and LLM, are INR 2,81,700 per year, based on the 2025-26 reference rate at affiliated law colleges.

For Law seats, GGSIPU uses CLAT UG rank for allotment. The university receives candidate data from the CLAT Consortium portal only after the student gives consent.

• Round 1 CLAT rank cutoff, 2026-27: Affiliated law colleges accepted ranks from 4,648 to 72,458 across all institutions.
• Top affiliated law colleges had closing ranks from 8,000 to 10,000 in Round 1.
• Students with CLAT ranks above 40,000 still had admission options at several GGSIPU-affiliated law colleges in Delhi NCR.
• Students who do not give consent on the CLAT portal cannot join GGSIPU Law counselling, even if their CLAT rank is strong.

Key insight: Students must give consent on the CLAT portal for sharing their score with GGSIPU. This step is completed once on the Consortium portal. If the consent window closes and the student has not completed this step, GGSIPU Law counselling cannot be accessed later through an appeal or workaround.

How to Apply for Law at GGSIPU?

Law applicants must complete registration on both the CLAT Consortium portal and the GGSIPU admission portal.

• Step 1: Register for CLAT UG at consortiumofnlus.ac.in and appear in the exam.
• Step 2: On the CLAT portal, give consent to share the score with GGSIPU.
• Step 3: Register for GGSIPU Law counselling at ipu.admissions.nic.in.
• Step 4: Pay the non-refundable INR 2,500 registration fee.
• Step 5: Fill preferences for GGSIPU-affiliated law colleges.
• Step 6: Accept the allotted seat and pay the fees before the given deadline.

GGSIPU PG Admission 2026

At the PG level, GGSIPU offers MBA, MBA-Analytics, MBA-Financial Analysis, MBA Weekend, LLM, and other courses. MBA admission uses CAT, CMAT, and IPU CET routes, while LLM admission uses CLAT PG.

GGSIPU MBA Admission 2026

GGSIPU MBA admission covers the University School of Management Studies and more than 15 affiliated management institutes. USMS at Dwarka campus has 240 full-time MBA seats, including 120 MBA seats, 60 MBA-Analytics seats, and 60 MBA-Financial Analysis seats. CAT, CMAT, and IPU CET are accepted through separate merit lists.

Annual fees at USMS Dwarka campus are INR 3,30,100 per year, based on the 2025-26 reference rate.

GGSIPU prepares separate MBA merit lists for CAT, CMAT, and IPU CET. Cutoffs are released round-wise for each exam route.

• USMS has 240 full-time seats in total, with 120 in MBA, 60 in MBA-Analytics, and 60 in MBA-Financial Analysis.
• USMS also offers 120 Weekend MBA seats under CET Code 186.
• A student registered under one exam route, such as CAT, cannot be shifted to another route, such as CMAT, for the same round.
• Round 1 cutoffs for all three exam routes at USMS and affiliated colleges were released on July 10, 2026.

How to Apply for MBA at GGSIPU?

MBA applicants use one GGSIPU portal for CAT, CMAT, and IPU CET counselling routes.

• Step 1: Appear in CAT conducted by IIMs, CMAT conducted by NTA, or IPU CET through ipu.ac.in.
• Step 2: After the result, register for counselling at ipu.admissions.nic.in.
• Step 3: Pay the non-refundable INR 2,500 registration fee.
• Step 4: Fill choices for management colleges and MBA specialisations.
• Step 5: Accept the allotted seat and pay the first-year fee within the given deadline.
• Step 6: Report to the allotted institute for document checking and enrolment.

GGSIPU Cutoff 2026

GGSIPU cutoffs differ by course, entrance exam, seat category, domicile category, college, and round. The 2026-27 admission cycle showed separate cutoff ranges for B.Tech, MBA, and Law courses.

GGSIPU Scholarships 2026

GGSIPU students can apply for scholarships offered through government schemes and university-level support. The main scholarship options are listed below.

• Delhi Government: Students can apply for the Delhi Higher Education Aid Trust scholarship and merit scholarships for minority students through the e-district portal at edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in.
• National Scholarship Portal (NSP 2.0): The portal includes Post Matric Scholarship for SC, OBC, and PwD students, along with the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for Class 12 merit students. Applications are submitted at scholarships.gov.in.
• GGSIPU Sports Fee Waiver: Medal winners at National University Games, AIU Tournaments, and international events may receive a fee waiver or refund. Applications go through the Directorate of Students' Welfare.
• EWS Financial Assistance: The Nirmal Gopal Memorial Award and other EWS-linked support are available through the GGSIPU Directorate of Students' Welfare at Dwarka campus.
