What I Liked

Library with updated books for students
Auditoriums with the capacity of 300 students

What I didn’t like

Hostels and messes which aren't cleaned up regularly
Health care centre were the staff seems to be uneducated

Placement Experience:

Many of department claims that they have the highest placement dones none of them where to come to true only few of department like economics and chemistry has an average placement of of around 3 lpa of the beginning and for pg it is around 6 lpa

Remarks:

The major for selecting this college was asking really near to my hometown around 22 kilometres I thought it is near and mostly good one I chose the collage the seems to have offerings lots discipline

It is genuine and the experience, pov of new student.

What I Liked

If want to be focused with studies you should select it.
Teachers and good and of helping nature.

What I didn’t like

If you want to have a good social life and getting DU you should select that in place of this college.
Campus is very outskirts and the city is very far from the college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered good but maximum to the MSc. Students as maximum companies see more knowledge achieved. It is good to have a MSc degree also within same college and get a good placements from campus.

Remarks:

I given exam CUET in which I got good marks not very good but I am eligible for every Central Universities but I have got interested in rocks and the minerals structure related studies and so I have taken this course.

Life in CUK

What I Liked

The campus is beautiful and vast, it is awesome during this time of the year, but the weather is not good during summer. Sometimes the heat gets really unbearable. There are EV and Bus facilities within the campus which started just recently
The faculties also depends on each department I think, but for psychology we have a good set of teachers.

What I didn’t like

The heat during summers is the thing I dislike most about the campus, the classroom of most departments are thankfully air conditioned but the hostel often gets unbearable even at night, but it is just a matter of few months.
For a person who does not like walking, commuting within the University might be tough.

Placement Experience:

There are no placements here, I think it's more like it depends on each department. The internships are provided by some departments like psychology, other departments don't as far as I know, you might get absorbed into that very package after your degree

Remarks:

There was a good review for this University especially for the psychology department which is what made me want to join here, as that is the very course I've joined. The admission enrollment is based on the CUET score, after the first and second list is released there might be a third list or there is directly the open councelling option

About Central University of Karnataka

What I Liked

I liked the affordability and the faculty i got and the campus environment too you will learn many things here
What i like in brief faculty, environment campus, academic, surroundings affordability

What I didn’t like

Mostly i don't like the mesh food that the bad part of University
And the transport facility is not that good it's there but not enough so it's irritating sometimes

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is there and you will get some placement from here but it's not too active most of the time you have work by your own or professor will be there for your help . And my plans are for doing pg this time TCS came many applied for this but i didn't bcz of pg

Remarks:

I want to do economics and i got it here so i chooseed it and getting addmission is not that tough and hectic. You have to write cuet exam for this and there will be no other procedures like group discussion, interviews etc. After admission you have to submit all the necessary things like 12th marksheet and cuet marksheet, tc from previous school and charector certificate but it will go smoothly and easy to do so

Life at CUK

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum (updated one) is created with great thought. It imparts students with up-to-date knowledge and for future needs as well. The design also maintains an overall study friendly way too.

Remarks:

There were no interviews for me as such, since I was selected through the merit list. However though, there was indeed a spot admission round where they admitted students through a simple interview. The University is one of newer Central universities, and have sophisticated laboratories, etc.

Central University of karnataka - Brief description.

What I Liked

The construction and infrastructure of campus is simple and in unique way.
There is very helpful and good faculty in the campus

What I didn’t like

The complexity in administration which is having political influences
Not much active faculty in my department and the valuation for internal exams and sem exams are not to the level of standard.

Placement Experience:

The placements are little in campus as the company's approach mainly on Business school and engineering school the chance of getting placements is very low. The highest package of placement got from campus is 1.5 lackh per month.The percentage of students getting placements nearly 30%. My plan after the degree is to get a placement or doing research in Economics.

Remarks:

We have to qualify the cutt off marks in CUET PG entrance examination. One good aspect in the college is a peaceful environment without any disturbances or very experienced faculties in the department. And one bad aspect is tge sylabus not reached up to the standard level.

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure of the college because in the degree I studied in a small college so compared to that in Central university l like the infrastructure.
I also like the academic of the central university because in post graduate level student have to work their own in studies and I personally improve my presentation and reporting skills

What I didn’t like

I dislike the food quality of the central university of Karnataka
I also dislike the less availability of resources

Placement Experience:

In the social work department they provide placement on the basis on specialization. There are three specialization human resources management, social development, and medical and psychiatric so only human resources management have placement. In the case of internship student gets internship in the second year third semester and fourth semester.

Remarks:

I am very much interested in Central university because the certificate value is more compare to other university so i am joined in one of the central university. And i am also interested to study distance from my hometown that's why I choose Central university of karnataka. The eligibility to join in the central university is only one entrance test named as cuet. I don't have any interview or group discussion. In my admission year the highest score gained by student is 250 out of 300.
