There are 3 hostel for the boys and 2 for the females. There is a huge mess which can accommodate over 1000 people. When it comes to food quality it's pretty decent we get tasty meals every now and then. It is well organised and we are given the menu 2 days in advance. In terms of taste I'd give it an 8/10.
Campus life is amazing you'll have loads of fests and sports tournaments to participate in. Every festival is celebrated in a grand manner as we have a crowd from all over the world. Since we posses a ide diversity of people it is extremely fun to learn about new cultures.
Read Full ReviewI did not for a hostel , and I tell you this was the most stupid decision I made I suggest you please don't , rather come here and find a good pg in and around the clg , the hostel room was very small no ventilation and 3 ppl had to stay in one room and the worst part was the food , our hostel warden was a life saver he was a very nice person that's the only thing that was good about the hostel

Read Full ReviewI have not opted for hostel but as far as I know the hostel over here sucks and it is not that great. The message food is disgusting as once we found 100s of ants inside our food which made us all go to the hostel.
The life at this campus sucks since the college is very small it is just a small building with 6 floors and nothing else. There are a lot of clubs which keep us entertained but it honestly sucks it's not worth up the hype .
Read Full ReviewNot opted for clg hostels but since ive friends who live there, they have a pathethic experience. Food is horrible and accomodations dont work majority of the time and no security since they leave whenever they feel like and enter when ever they feel like, children away from home for the first time if have this sort of libertty then they will for sure get into a bad influence
There are plenty of forums in our collage one for every bit of extra work engaging us in the other social activities and making sure that we have great communication, social and nagotiability skills at the end of our degree some importants ones to survive in the near future of our career. Fests are held at the end of jan and starting of feb in our own clg where other collages are invited and rest of the yesr we as jain students are invited to present and win the fests held in other collages this is all done through the forums clg just supports but the forums are managed and run by the students itself this builts our networking quiet well.

Read Full ReviewI have not opted for the hostel however from friends i know that the students are given breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks at evening. The lunch is delivered to the campus at time where they can have it after showing their meal card. The menu for each day is forwarded to them earlier so they can sign up to eat the food. The quality of the food is below average from south Indian point of view, not sure about the north though. The rooms are well maintained and tidy. Students can use bus service for commute between campus and hostel. The hostel is expensive with fees around 1,50,000 an year. I rented a pg near campus at Jaynagar 9th block just 3 crosses away from campus. if you can find a pg i think its much better.
There is mainly 1 fest called Anveshna for freshers. Various other programs are conducted throughout the year by different clubs where small stalls are put up and is usually followed by a flash mob. There are various clubs run by different departs for their subjects like psychology, sociology, economics, literature, journalism etc. There is also a NSS unit at the campus as well. the university has a sports forum where athletes are given the opportunity to participate at different events. The campus has an extensive library stocked with many referral books for various subjects, it has all the important newspapers and educational magazines in stock as well. The library is a perfect place to focus on your work without disturbances. If you want to surf through internet or work you can use the computers present as well. Each classroom is well equipped with smart board and WiFi connection. some are even air conditioned. They are well maintained and kept clean.
