There are seven hostels for girls in Ravenshaw University. They are Daya, Devi, West, Kathojodi, Parija, Bhargabi, and Mahanadi. All the hostels do not have good maintenance. The hostels Daya and Devi are stacked up with six students in a room. Add to that the food is also average.
Bhargabi is only for the students who are pursuing postgraduate. Parija is the oldest hostel and it is helpful for studies as the rooms are for two students. West can accommodate 5 students in a room and the food is also good. Most students opt for Kathojodi as the food and infrastructure are good. Mahanadi was established in 2020 and it accommodates 6 students in a room.
The security for the hostels is also very good and the wardens are very friendly. You will be allotted your hostel on the basis of your percentage.
For the boys, there are 6 hostels: New, New PG, JC Boys, East, Dharmapada, and Lalitgiri. Lalitgiri was inaugurated in 2020. These hostels are well maintained and the food is also not bad. The hostels East and New have wifi.
