Sri Sri University Courses and Fees

Sri Sri University has more than 100 UG, PG, and doctoral programmes. The total programme fees listed below are from the SSU fee schedule for 2026.

Some less common options at SSU include B.Sc Osteopathy at INR 19.64 Lakhs, Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences at INR 14.15 Lakhs, BFA in Animation at INR 4.81 Lakhs, and BPA in Odissi Dance and Hindustani Vocal at INR 1.21 Lakhs each. These courses connect with the university’s Art of Living Foundation background and its focus on holistic education.

Sri Sri University Admission Process

SSU admits students through its own SSU CET and also accepts scores from national-level tests. Shortlisting is done online on merit. A shortlisted student must pay 50% of the first semester tuition fee within 7 working days to secure the seat.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, students need 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate in PCM.

• Selection steps: application and exam registration, online merit shortlist, seat confirmation fee payment, document verification, and programme allotment
• The chosen specialisation is finalised during the admission process

The B.Tech programme has 7 specialisations. CSE, Data Science, and Cyber Security receive the strongest demand. EV Technology, ECE with AI, Mechanical Engineering with Robotics, and VLSI Design are newer options with a lower fee band.

MBA Admission

MBA applicants must hold a graduation degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.

• Accepted exams: CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / OJEE MBA / SSU CET
• Selection steps: application, score submission, personal interview at SSU, and final merit-based allotment
• Work experience is preferred for FinTech and Good Governance, but it is not compulsory for the 2-year full-time MBA

SSU keeps the MBA cutoff accessible. Students with a MAT or CMAT percentile above 50 are usually considered for shortlisting. The MBA FinTech fee is INR 8.79 Lakhs, while the standard MBA fee for the other 9 specialisations is INR 8.24 Lakhs.

BAMS and Health Sciences Admission

BAMS, which runs for 5.5 years, and B.Sc Nursing, which runs for 4 years, require NEET UG. Students must have 10+2 with PCB and at least 50% aggregate. BAMS admission in Odisha is done through state AYUSH counselling. The BAMS course at SSU follows Ministry of AYUSH rules and is supported by NABH-recognised clinical training facilities.

Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences and B.Sc Osteopathy also follow PCB-based eligibility. GNM needs 10+2 with Biology and at least 45% aggregate.

B.Arch Admission

B.Arch admission needs 10+2 with PCM and a minimum 50% aggregate. Students can apply through NATA or JEE Paper 2. The course runs for 5 years and is regulated by the Council of Architecture. In earlier admission rounds, NATA scores above 80 out of 200 were competitive for SSU B.Arch seats.

BCA, BBA, B.Com, BFA, and BPA Admission

For these UG courses, the common requirement is 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate. SSU accepts SSU CET and CUET UG scores, and it also offers direct merit-based admission through board marks. BFA in Animation also requires a portfolio or aptitude test. BPA in Odissi Dance and Hindustani Vocal includes a performance audition during selection.

PG and Ph.D Admission

MCA requires BCA, B.Sc CS, or an equivalent degree with 50%. M.Tech Cyber Security needs B.Tech with 50% and a GATE score or SSU CET score. M.Sc applicants must have the relevant B.Sc degree with 50%. For Ph.D, admission is through SSURET, the annual Sri Sri University Research Entrance Test, and applicants need a PG degree with 55% aggregate.

Sri Sri University Placements

Sri Sri University’s 2025 placement season closed with a highest package of INR 15.5 LPA. The average package was INR 7.10 LPA for MBA and INR 4.3 LPA across UG courses. More than 100 companies joined the drive, including 27 new recruiters visiting the campus for the first time.

Banking and Finance led hiring with 39% of total placements. Consulting made up 18%, FMCG and Retail accounted for 17%, and Manufacturing contributed 14%.

Companies that have recruited from SSU include Accenture, TCS, KPMG, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, Dabur, ITC, Policybazaar, PhonePe, BigBasket, Flipkart, Zomato, and Swiggy. Recruiters come from IT services, BFSI, FMCG, consulting, and e-commerce.

Courses such as Yoga, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Agriculture also create career routes beyond regular campus jobs. BAMS graduates commonly move towards NEET PG, government AYUSH jobs, or private practice. Agriculture graduates may choose agri-business, government extension services, or state-level competitive exam paths.

Sri Sri University Rankings

In IIRF 2025, Sri Sri University was placed as the #1 private university in Odisha and #4 in the East Zone. It also secured 35th rank out of 103 private universities at the all-India level in the same ranking framework. In the India Today MDRA 2025 rankings, SSU stood at 34th position among top private general universities in India.

SSU has kept the #1 private university in Odisha position in IIRF rankings in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Its all-India private university rank moved from 17 in 2024 to 35 in 2025, with a larger set of institutions assessed. IIRF looks at areas such as placements, research, teaching resources, industry links, and international outlook.

Sri Sri University Scholarships

Sri Sri University runs a Scholarship Support Division (SDD) to help students find and apply for financial aid offered by government bodies and private organisations. Scholarship support is available for eligible UG and PG students.

Students admitted to SSU can also use education loan options through the Vidyalakshmi portal, where the university is listed as an eligible institution. The SDD team supports students with scholarship documents and helps eligible applicants follow deadlines for government and private schemes.

Sri Sri University Campus and Infrastructure

Sri Sri University has a 188-acre campus in Cuttack, Odisha, along the Cuttack-Bhubaneswar highway corridor. Built under the Art of Living Foundation, the campus combines academic facilities with wellness and sustainability-focused spaces. Its agricultural research farms give B.Sc Agriculture and Horticulture students practical field training.

Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls. Hostel fees are between INR 25,100 and INR 70,200 per year, based on room type and facilities. SSU also has NABH certification for health and allied health infrastructure, which supports clinical training in BAMS, B.Sc Nursing, BPT, and Naturopathy.

The campus has a performing arts space, an outdoor amphitheatre for BFA and BPA students, a dedicated meditation and yoga centre, and a sustainability precinct. In the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, SSU has been listed as the #1 university in Odisha for sustainability and environmental initiatives.

Sri Sri University vs Centurion University vs SOA University

Students in Odisha often compare Sri Sri University with Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) and Siksha O Anusandhan University (SOA). All three are private universities in Odisha and offer programmes across multiple fields, but their focus areas are different.

SSU is suitable for students who want professional courses such as B.Tech and MBA along with areas like BAMS, Yoga, and Performing Arts in a holistic campus setting. CUTM is better aligned with skill-based engineering and rural Odisha-focused education. SOA is usually preferred by students aiming for Medicine, Dental, Pharmacy, and Engineering because of its NAAC ’A+’ grade and clinical infrastructure.
