BITSAT entrance exam needed. No reservation. Various branches avaliable at range of marks. Dual degree 5yrs option avaliable. Basic JEE prep will work for BITSAT. FIll the preference order carefully and explore the Dual degree option.

It wasn't far from my home. I basically wasn't getting any IIT. Admission is only through scoring high marks in BITSAT exam. Lower branches like Civil, MSc Chem are quite easy to get, people who just qualify JEE Mains are able to get atleast somehting here

I gave a written test for admission to BITS Pilani which is BITSAT. I scored pretty decent and got the Top 2nd branch in the main campus (apart from this there are 3 more campuses like Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai). I scored 374/450 in the test. Factors responsible for me choosing this college was it's ranking pan-India. It ranks among the Top 5 IITs and probably has the best alumni network.

The college overall is a good place if the high amount of fees isn't a problem for you, but even if you do not have a firm financial background you can still study but will have to work hard in college to have a nice experience. BITS Pilani has three campuses and all of them admit students through BITSAT in their First degree program. The cutoffs vary each year and the trends show an increase in the cutoffs but after the exams, the college releases official cutoffs for each branch on their website.

The entry into the college is through BITSAT exam, it contains physics, chemistry, logical reasoning, english and mathematics/biology. Information regarding the cutoffs is available on the official website. Various exam papers and books are available to prepare for bitsat as it is a well known exam.

This is a very good college as it has great infra faculties are well experienced here and overall development of the student is very much here as they get to explore many fields except their branch-specific

There is only one test - the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) to get into BITS Pilani. The level of this exam is usually easier than the JEE mains, that's why I would recommend not dedicatedly prepare for BITSAT, but prepare for JEE Mains, and in the last 1-2 months of BITSAT, give mock tests to get used to the pattern of the exam. Coming to the college, I picked BITS Pilani, because it was the best option for me at that time. Its placement stats are decent, I would say better than the NITs, and the start-up culture is one of the many things the college is known for. BITS is supportive when it comes to start-ups. If you have a good idea and a descent plan to pursue it, you can even get funding from PIEDS(Pilani Innovation and Incubation Centre), and it will also help you with your start-up. The only bad aspect of this college is the VERY HIGH fees. Including the personnel expenses, the 4 years expense will be around 30 lakhs, which is a LOT to spend for a bachelor's degree.

The college has no attendence policy which is good to join where you get time to study your interests and you can write exams if you don’t have attendence also . And the grading is but diffixult in bits which is bad

BITS pilani has its legacy in providing good campus placement, especially to CS students. It also has the best startup culture in India. Studying in this college is definitely gonna help me in my future. To get into this college you need to clear BITSAT. And to get CS you need to have a score above 320 out of 390.
