TANUVAS Eligibility and Selection Criteria

A candidate seeking admission to a B.VSC or B.Tech degree program must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCB with 60% marks/ 60% marks in aggregate of Biology and vocational subjects (Agricultural practices, Dairy or Poultry) for B.VSc.
  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCMB with 60% marks for B.Tech.
  • Candidates from reserved categories must only pass the last qualifying exam. 15% of the seats are reserved for the candidates selected by the Veterinary Council of India.
  • The selection process is based on merit in the qualifying examination followed by counselling and verification documents.
