Definitely it was the aiims tag that made me choose this clg. And the second thing being the location, rishikesh is such a nice and calm soothing place. A great environment to live. U have to qualify neet exam and get a good rank to enter this clg

Better than other colleges in terms of exposure, equipments, clinical aspects as well as research opportunities, moreover it is centrally funded which serves as a benefit in the long run. Only bad aspect maybe lesser patient load than other top state colleges. Admission process: through NEET-UG exam. Possibly try to get a rank under 700 to grab a seat (open). Preparation is usually by conventional methods like 2 years of pre medical coachings via institutes like aakash>allen.

You can also join as a medical officer in various government hospitals, but most students opt for a postgraduate course after completing MBBS
The fact the this is one of the best AIIMS after AIIMS delhi with a NIRF ranking of 14 made me chose the college. Situated at the bank of river Ganga the college offers some breathtaking views throughout the year. The selection process is fairly straight forward and doesn't involve any interviews. NEET ug exam is the only selection criteria with a cut off of AIR ~ 1000 for UR category, AIR ~ 2000 for OBC, AIR ~ 7000 for SC, and AIR ~ 15000 for ST. One of the big drawbacks of the college is that it is situated in a small town which doesn't offer the same facilities of a metropolitan city otherwise academics is top noch with very advance labs and skill centers available.

There is no bond system as this is a Central institute. After getting selected for PG and getting enrolled here as a junior resident, you have to work everyday, but the salary is great, it's Rs 1 lakh for JRs, Rs 1.2 lakhs for SRs, and 2-3 lakhs for the faculties.
There are many factors which made me choose this specific college : 1. Location - The location is THE BEST. You have clean weather of Rishikesh along with many travel/tourist spots/treks nearby. The River Ganga flows just infront of the college which makes that area relatively cool and serene. This was probably the biggest deciding factor for me choosing this college. 2. Research scope - During the time I got selected, this college was the 2nd best choice for research enthusiasts after AIIMS Delhi. The college, since it's opening in 2012 has made many national and international level connections which makes it easy to get involved into various research programs, student associations and a lot more. 3. Academics - The college/hospital has internationally recognised faculty/consultants with a plethora of knowledge, curious student slike us can use and apply. 4. College Fest - One of the major factor, PYREXIA makes soo many memories. I was in the organising team this year and loved it!

I chose this college because of exam pattern that is 50 percent MCQ and rest is subjective and also college campus is ragging free For admission the student should get a good rank in neet ug exam Then counselling for the same

And for that the college offers stipend of 30k and when internship is completed we have to get our permanent registration from the state medical council and for post graduation first we have to get a good rank in neet pg/next exam. Aiims rishikesh PG course is vast and the seats are allotted according to the rank which you have achieved and the salary is also more as compared to state colleges.
When i gave my ug exam there was separate exam for central institute like AIIMS so i got 1620 rank and 382 in obc catagory and i got aiims rishikesh in my third counselling. The admission process is simple you have to enroll in the counselling part when you will be qualified and according to your rank you can get this college. Nowadays admission in central institutes is through neet ug only there is no separate exam for that. So the student that gets a rank under 1000 general category can get this college. There is no separate admission criteria for this college , students get selected through neet ug. And overall it is one of the best institute from where you can persue your MBBS.
Read Full ReviewThere are many job opportunities after graduating from AIIMS, one can become a nursing officer in any government hostel for that you have to clear an exam called NORCT and you can apply for any private hospital or best that you opt for abroad and become a registered nurse.
Aiims Rishikesh is one of the best after aiims Delhi, it was on my second priority after Delhi... there's a separate exam for nursing in AIIMS that is the "aiims bsc(h) nursing exam" that we have to clear to get admission... was of moderate level.. and cut off were pretty decent when we took admission (2022).. but now cut off is quite high.
Read Full ReviewJob opportunities are very good in nursing. you can give norcet after course completion to get a government job in aiims as a nursing officer. you can opt for a master's in nursing to get a higher degree and then work as a nursing tutor or clinical instructor. there are very good chances to apply to foreign countries as nurses are in demand there.
So the first thing that fascinated me was the tag of aiims of course lol. The entrance exam is a nursing exam conducted by AIIMS only. The cutoff is not so high yet not so low, you need to score decent marks to get admission. The most admiring thing is the college campus and you can explore as much as you want. the bad thing about college is that it's kind of more hectic than another college as per my experience.
Read Full ReviewYou can be a government nursing officer in AIIMS or any government setup if you clear the entrance NORCET. You can also work in private clinics or old age homes. Nursing has a great scope abroad and in Indian defense services also.
I was a biology student in my senior secondary education so I gave the entrance in 2022 for aiims nursing and secured a rank of 1040 and got into AIIMS Rishikesh, I opted for this because it has the best in nursing education and is pretty affordable with good professors, exposure, campus, and hostels. It's kind of free, you just have to clear the entrance.
Read Full ReviewYou do have 1 and a half years of paid internship to qualify mbbs. After that, u need to either take the PG exams (domestic and international ) or start some jobs with an MBBS degree. I plan on giving NEET Pg, getting a residency in General surgery, and hopefully specializing in my choice of specialty.
This was the best AIIMS college I was getting based on my rank. It didn’t seem that good on the outside (reading online and watching videos) but I was dead wrong about it. Yes, it doesn’t have that big infrastructure or patient load like aiims Delhi but there is a reason why I call it a hidden gem in the title. Its campus life sets it so much apart, the socialization u get here is amazing, everyone is so helpful, and its mess food also came to be good regularly. The admission process is pretty straightforward apart from the medical examination which u feel find difficult to find in the departments but it's an excuse to get used to your college, so win-win overall.
