Uttaranchal University Dehradun Admission into UG, PG, diplomas, and multiple courses on research programs are based on the state and national level entrance exam scorecard.
- Admission to the UG courses under the Uttaranchal University is mostly done on a merit basis and for courses like B.Pharm, the selection is done on a merit basis and based on the score in the UUEE exam.
- The admission to the PG courses at Uttaranchal University is done on a merit basis on the qualifying exam and followed by an interview. And admission to courses like MTech is based on the GATE score.
- e admission to the BTech courses is based on the score of the JEE Mains exam.
- The admissions to the Ph.D. courses are based on the marks scored in the entrance exams like UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, and SLET.

Uttaranchal University Application Process
For Online Application
- Go to the official website of the university.
- Click on the ‘Apply Now’ option.
- Fill up your details and click on the signup section.
- A confirmation link will be sent to your registered email-id.
- Once you have clicked on this link your account gets activated.
- Then you will be redirected to the online form filling section.
- Now login through ‘Registered Students’.
- After login please fill in all the details carefully and upload all necessary documents.
- Review the application form and pay the registration fees of INR 1250 via Demand Draft, Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, etc.
- A receipt will be generated and you will get a confirmation mail at your registered email-id.
- Take the printout of the registered form for future references.
Note: Application form fees are INR 1200 and extra INR 50 is charged as processing fees if paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.
For Offline Application
- Go to the official website of the university
- Under the admission tab, click on the Admission Procedure option and click on the download form section.
- Download the desired form and take its printout.
- After filling the form, send the form along with the INR 1200 Demand Draft in favour of Uttaranchal University.
- If required attach the required documents.

Admissions are done on cut-off basis of joint entrance exam examination for BCA or BTech courses. While for courses like BSC in agriculture, NEET examination are taken as a priority for the cut-off. Also, on the basis of your rank, the college provide some amount of scholarship discount.

The college is situated in Dehradun with a beautiful mountain view and greenery all over the campus nearby, the college infrastructure is great.
