Aliah University Admission is offered to UG, PG, and Docotral level courses in various disciplines. BCA, B.Tech, and M.Tech are among the most popular courses offered by the college. 

  • Admissions to universities are handled entirely online. 
  • As part of the admissions process, for UG and PG level courses candidates will be required to take the WBJEE, GATE or AUAT. Applications for all programs are available online, and eligible candidates can apply online.

For simplification of all the admission modalities, the university has divided the courses into 5 Groups. AUAT is divided into two parts i.e. Part A and Part B. Part – A is common to all the groups while Part – B is different for each group of courses.

Eligibility Criteria

Aliah University provides several undergraduate courses under different specializations of 2 & 3 years under full-time modes. All the courses have a similar eligibility criterion:

For B.Tech: Candidates should have passed the 10+2 level in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and must have received at least 60% overall in each subject.

For B.Tech(Lateral): Candidates must hold a Diploma in respective/allied Engineering programs with a minimum of 60% in aggregate.

For B.A/B.Sc/B.CA: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level from any recognized board.

For B.Ed.: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% in their UG/PG program in General Streams or at least 55% in their engineering program.

For Integrated BBA+MBA: Applicants must have a 10+2 qualification in any branch with at least 50% in aggregate and 50% in English from any recognized board.

Selection Criteria

  • Admission to the B.A. and B.Sc. programs will be based on the AUAT merit score, followed by online counseling.
  • Admissions to B.Ed Program will be based on the merit score derived using the academic and entrance exam scores. The scores acquired by applicants in the Entrance Test will be given 60% weightage and the academic examination will be given 40% weightage in the B.Ed. program.
  • The selection in the B.Tech course is based on the merit scores from the AUAT and WBJEE tests followed by online counseling.
  • Candidates are selected for the BBA +MBA course on the bases of performance in the AUAT admission test.

AUAT

Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) is a university-wide online entrance exam administered by Aliah University. It is held to admit students to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and five-year integrated courses. Before registering for the exam, candidates should review the AUAT Eligibility Criteria. AUAT Application Form is only accessible online for applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for Aliah University's master's programs. Candidates can review all of the facts to have an understanding of their eligibility for the specific course.

  • MA/ MSc: Candidates must have a BA/B.Sc. in the relevant stream from a recognized university.
  • MJMC: Candidates must have at least 45% in their three-year (10+2+3) or four-year (10+2+4) bachelor's degree.
  • LLM: To be able to apply for LLM, the candidate must have completed a 3-year LLB or an integrated 5-year LLB with at least 45% overall
  • M.Tech: B.E/B.Tech in the relevant field with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% overall.
  • MCA: Passed with at least 50% in the appropriate discipline from any recognized university.

Selection Criteria:

  • The selection criteria for all the courses will be based on the Entrance Test conducted by Aliah University under AUAT.
  • Candidates who have successfully completed the final exams of any three-year degree program with the minimum needed marks in related Hons/Major discipline from any recognized board or university may apply.
  • Candidates who have successfully completed Part I and Part II examinations or received an equivalent grade in corresponding Honours/Major topics from any accredited university are also qualified to take the AUAT. 
  • Their enrolment, unfortunately, will be revoked if they fail to score an aggregate of 40% in the Part III/Final Examination.
  • Admission to Aliah University's M.Tech and MCA programs is based on GATE and AUAT, respectively.

Aliah University Ph.D. Admission 2022

Aliah University provides Ph.D. programs in engineering, science, humanities, social science, and religious studies. The University also provides D.Litt. in Humanities, Social Science, and Religious Studies, as well as D.Sc. in Science and Engineering. D.Litt. and D.Sc. degrees are considered Post-Doctoral studies. These degrees are conferred based on the candidate's research ability and quantity of publications. The university accepts applications twice a year, in April-May and October-November.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students having a Master's degree in any engineering subject and an overall GPA of 60% are qualified to apply.
  • Students holding a Master's degree in any of the sciences, humanities, social sciences, or religious studies disciplines with a 55% aggregate are qualified to apply.

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates are chosen according to their performance in a departmental qualifying examination administered by the relevant Departmental Research Committee (DRC), which is followed by an interview.
  • The final admittance decision will be based on overall academic achievement and the interview.
