- College Infrastructure is very good according to me and very clean
- Faculty are the best , lots of trees,Wifi in the campus,AC in the library.
Dislikes
- There is no Wifi or LAN in the hostel as my friends says.
- People are not such supportive . Campus Life is boring due to No fest or events
Remarks :
I choosen this college over any because it is own by state gov, and it's location is also so good. For taking addmission you have to give an entrance exam by fill up AUAT form organize by Aliah it self in the month of June .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum are too old ,and also easy to pass. Teachers are well qualified and there teaching methods are also soo good according to me. Mr Mohsin Jamal is the best faculty of my department. There is only two exam held every year after six month at the end of sem .Exams are not too difficult to pass You can pass the exam by only study a week before.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I am in 5th sem so I am eligible for the internship but some companies offers internship like,PWC, Kolkata metro,PWD, and also some time kolkata local train. They are not give major role to the intern but give only guideline to the students for industry ready.
Placement Experience :
Students who are in 7th sem are eligible for the placement but some companies ask for CGPA above 7 in my department. companies which are come like Reshmi const, Acc, L&T,RDC concrete,patel engg., etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
At the time of addmission you have to pay around Rs.7000 for first sem and then rest of the sem have to pay around Rs.6000. There is no extra fee for anything expect for NCC you have to pay Rs.100 for registration . Fee are same for every category,there is no difference in fee for anyone. Students who belongs to west Bengal Can fill up SVMCM which is around Rs.60k ,rest cam fill up NSP around Rs.15k.
Campus Life :
There is no rest happen in the entire year but freshers are organised by each department separately. Various type of books are available in the library like from bottom to top level books of each department. In the term of sports they support football more then other game.So if you play football then you can enjoy.No clubs and group by the students
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is very good according to me but I don't stay in hostel due it's low capacity because they do not provide hostel to everyone they have there own criteria for hostel accommodation.But I have tried hostel food they are not that good . For hostel accommodation you have to fill up form after the addmission.But you can rent mess and PT around it like me.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
