Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college was it was located in New Town Kolkata, good infrastructure, good hostel facilities and autonomous University. Good aspects are good environment, friendly faculty members, helpful seniors, no ragging. Bad aspects are need to improve sports facilities, medical facilities, extra caricullam activities. Admission process is very easy need to crack entrance exam which is generally tough and got a good rank. I prepared for these round with the help of my brother.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose physics because of passion for understanding the laws of nature, from the tiniest particles to the vastness of space. Qualification of the faculties are highly qualified faculty, many of whom are actively engaged in research. They bring their expertise into the classroom, which helps in developing a deep understanding of complex concepts. Term exams are two times annually and it's difficulty level is generally tough.
Internships Opportunities :
I am not opted for any internships because my department doesn't provide any internships and placements after completion of the programme. There was no project works in my department so , I didn't done any project.
Placement Experience :
Placement was preety much average not so good . Few visited recruiters are such as byjus, tcs, Infosys,hurdles any many other companies. Highest package around 12 LPA and average package around 4-5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placements was around 60%. My plans after getting the degree was to prepare for government job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total annual fees around 8000 rupees only. there was registration and admission fees around 2000 rupees only and tution fees, caution money all included in semester fees and others fees also included in semester fees.there was no special compensation for any category, all students have to pay the same amount.I currently didn't recall exact fees of my othe batch mates but for BTech and BBA MBA it's around 20000 per anum. There was mainly two scholarships available which are SVMCM amount around 18000 for bsc and 60000 for BTech and post matric amount 5000 for bsc and 28000 for BTech . Foe applying to SVMCM one must need above 60%marks.
Campus Life :
For newly fresher students first of all an induction programme was conducted which was around 7 days around the month of October. Freshers party was conducted department wise . Many other programme such as teachers day , blood donation camp, sports day , sports fest and many other programme were conducted. Vast range of availability of books and journals in the library. Amenities in classroom is pretty much good and high tech. Not many sports are available only 4 to 5 types of sports played in the university. Not many extracurricular activities are there.senior students are very helpful for junior students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
