- The Infrastructure is well designed for summer, every where there is greenery.
- Faculty are good , It is very affordable for everyone, Wifi around campus.
Dislikes
- Not everyone got hostel due it's low capacity.
- There is language barrier in the college but after sometime you will be fine .
Remarks :
Basically the fee structure of this college is very affordable for all middle class people or lower middle class. For taking addmission first you have to give an entrance exam which is held by Aliah University in the month of June.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course due my low rank ,but now i am happy. Faculty are well qualified like some are done Mtech from IIT and NIT. There Teaching style is not so good but they are knowledgeable. In a year there only two sem exam after every six month.And the exams are not so difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I am not applied for any intership but there is lot of companies offer internship to students, Like TCS ,rubrik, Etechify,etc. To intern they give some training first like for 1 month or 3 month you have to take an NOC letter from your Hod to do internship.
Placement Experience :
To be eligible for placement you have to pass 6th sem them after u r eligible and some ask for 7.5Cgpa for interview. Few companies come like Infotech Solution,HCL, Cognizant, Capgemini,Acc,Shyam stell, or etc. highest package is around 14Lpa and Avg is 3Lpa near about 70% students placed every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
After document verification you have to pay around Rs.7500 for 1st sem and after that you have to Rs.5500 for remaining sem.There is No hidden fees for entire course like no extra charges for exam ,Labs and other.For every category there is equal fee. For home state students they can fill up SVMCM which is around Rs.60k.
Campus Life :
Basically there is no fest or event happens expect fresher which are organised separately of each department. In library there is a variety of books available from every branch to every author. In sports they support football over any other game but you can join NCC for better fitness. There is no social group or any clubs for specific topic.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is very good and well maintained but the food quality is not much good , you can eat only for survival. For hostel accommodation you have to fill up hostel accommodation form which is releases after taking addmission hostel is very affordable only 300/ month expect food you have pay for the food every time. You can also rent a PG or mess near it like muhammadpur or kadampukur.

Placement Experience :
Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
