West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences or WBUAFS is a public state veterinary university in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, India. The establishment of the University took place in 1995 through West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences Act-VI, 1995 with the purpose of educating, training and conducting research work in veterinary and animal sciences, dairy sciences and fishery sciences.
