NIT Mizoram offers undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD programmes in various disciplines, including Engineering and Science. Among all the courses offered, BTech is the flagship course at NIT Mizoram. NIT Mizoram BTech admission is based on JEE Main examination.

NIT Mizoram MTech application fees is INR 200 for General/OBC/EWS and INR 100 for SC/ST candidates.
NIT Mizoram BTech Fee is INR 6.08 Lakhs. Additionally, candidates need to pay INR 2,696 (per year) as a group medical and health insurance fee.

NIT Mizoram Admission Process

The following highlights admission procedures of various programmes at NIT Mizoram:

NIT Mizoram BTech Admission Process

Step 1: Candidates must appear for the JEE Main exam.

Step 2: Selection is based on performance in the JEE Main examination, and seat allocation is through JoSSA Counselling.

Step 3: If seats remain vacant after JoSSA rounds, admission is granted through CSAB Counselling, and candidates can secure admission by meeting the CSAB cutoff.

Step 4: The final BTech admission is completed by paying the seat acceptance fee through JoSSA/CSAB Counselling and physically reporting to the institute for document verification.

Remarks:

Your first got to give JEE, on the basis of that you will get admission. After your JEE score their will be josaa rounds and accordingly you can you your prefernce and you get in. The admission process was online, fee payment is also online.

What I Liked

Campus Life is not that good there as there is not permanent campus
Something is good something is bad but u have to sacrifice something to get a better result

What I didn’t like

I was so disappointed about the infrastructure as it doesn't have it's own campus.
Facultys are so supportive they are professors from IIT so they communicate with each students teaching is good overall

Remarks:

I chose this college because of it's location as it is located in a hilly area in mizoram aizawl so scenario is breathtaking and I needed to clear JEE mains exam to get admission to this college........

What I Liked

Infrastructure is not good because of no permanent campus
Faculties are best in nit mizoram except english faculty

I don't like my mess food and my campus life
Faculties are good but some of them are worst

First my jee mains rank by which I got this college with civil engineering branch and also my interest was in government job do doing btech from nit would be beneficial for me in future with a wide variety of future options

What I Liked

Campus is not there that's why it have worst infrastructure
Faculties are good , but not that much experienced

What I didn’t like

No infrastructure is present we have to use bus to go from hostel to college
Campus Life is good with friends only because we don't have any sport ground and anything else

Remarks:

As it is a government college and having a good placement scenario and it is in mizoram one of the best place in India that's why I got there and another reason was my jee mains rank according to that I got seat here

What I Liked

Facilities are best . Campus and infrastructure is not good
Campus Life is not that bad we are in aizawl one of beautiful city in India we wander every where

What I didn’t like

We don't have any sports ground to play
Infrastructure is bad we have to move from here to there for labs and classes

I have given my jee mains exam according to my rank I got ece branch in this college. Also it is a nit college . I prepare for jee mains through kota in Allen coaching in my drop year then after I gave the exam and got this college

Nit mizoram college review

What I Liked

Faculty is interactive and supportive. Overall campus life is good also .
There is enough building rented for the smooth going of classes and labs along with other administrations.

What I didn’t like

The academic blocks are scattered over a large area making it inconvenient to walk.
There are less fests as compared to other colleges.

Remarks:

Admission is taken through merit of jee main. The college Don't have it's own campus that is the main drawback.The positive point is there is less strength and limited seats so interaction with faculty is easier and the faculty is supportive . Overall it is a good to consider if you have low percentile in jee mains.

Life at Mizoram

Remarks:

I have given Jee . I got alloted to NIT Mizoram through Csab . It's kind of nice though. Faculty, Location,Nature, People but there is no personal permanent campus and you will not so much good things to eat outside or street food.

Life at NIT Mizoram

What I Liked

Location of college is good. The environment around hostel is good.
Hostels are in good condition and vies through window is very nice.

What I didn’t like

travelling , food , campus these are very bad in NIT Mizoram
Hostel mess is not good. limited variety is given by the mess.

Remarks:

Because my percentile is very poor I didn't have any other option unless to chose this college. Its cut-off is very less so that students who didn't score well in JEE Mains can see this college. This college did not conduct any admission interviews.

Glimpse of NIT Mizoram

What I Liked

In academics, this institute is best for anyone like in studies faculty. I think it is best to take admission in this institute rather than an university.

What I didn’t like

the only thing due to I dislike this institute, it does not provide any campus life because all the blocks and hostals are on rent. And transportation charges in mizoram is very expensive.

Remarks:

Yes, I passed the JEE Mains exam because this is an NIT so it is governed by the central government. I got 89.47 percentile in 2022 and my rank was 94889. I think this was a low rank but due to the CORONA period, I got a seat in NIT Mizoram. In CSAB round 2, I got a seat in civil engineering at NIT Mizoram.

Remarks:

I don't choose this collage, this is my fate in JEE mains. Then I don't know how this NIT is but now I regretting to come here this far from my home.my home town is Andhra Pradesh. But faculty is good here.
