There are very limited on campus placement opportunities as of now, but I think in the coming years it might improve. This year one firm is supposed to come for recruitment which is 'S&A Law Offices'. Apart from this students who do internships on their own regularly at good law firms end up getting good salary packages. After getting the degree either you may start practicing in the court, prepare for judiciary/other exams or try getting a corporate law firm job. For all these you need to do regular internships depending on your interest. If you work hard enough and do regular internships you have a good chance of getting a corporate law firm job with a decent salary.

There is a trend of PPO(pre placement offer) in the university. As it is a baby NLU so good companies don't come. The highest package received till now is 12 Lakhs and the average package is 8 Lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is I want to get employed in a good LAW FIRM.

There is a student run placement cell in the college which does not offer that many opportunities to students, most students rely on their hard work only. But still they do land jobs. A senior recently achieved a PPO at a tier 1 law firm. Many have excelled on their own too. The main focus of the students is Judiciary and other GOV jobs. The rest go for corporate jobs or litigation in their own places or Delhi.

You get placement in law firms of two and three tier, very limited 1 tier also. Many students get ppo based on their internship certificates and that is a leverage for you if you a student of any law university
